Shoushan Town, belonging to Longshan District, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast entrance of Liaoyuan city. It borders Anshi town of Dongliao County in the East, Gongnong township of Longshan District in the south, Dengta town of Xi'an District in the West and North. It is 10 kilometers away from Longshan district government. Its total area is 154 square kilometers.
In 1682, dashou village and Shoushan town were set up. In February 1976, Shanwan commune was established. In 1984, the commune was changed into a township and part of it was incorporated into Huosheng township of Dongliao county. In 1992, Huoxing township was changed into Shoushan town. In February 2005, it was assigned to Longshan district and Shanwan township was merged into Shoushan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Shoushan town was 33465. As of June 2020, Shoushan town has one community and 18 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 64 industrial enterprises in Shoushan Town, 16 industrial enterprises above Designated Size, and 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
