The geology of yichezhen is a long axis syncline structure, and its core is dolomite in the upper member of the Mesozoic Triassic chongliuguanling formation. Limestone with mudstone, siltstone and upper yongningzhen member of Mesozoic Triassic system belong to lithic sandstone, siltstone with mudstone and argillaceous limestone with siltstone shale. Outside, it is purple sand shale of xianguan formation in Paleozoic Triassic downflow area, which is formed by red clastic deposition. The lithology is purplish red, medium thick bedded, feldspar lithic intercalated with sandstone, mudstone siltstone, basalt outside the purple sand shale, Permian upwelling Emeishan basalt, including dark gray huitrace basalt, orange red basalt, porphyritic basalt. In addition to the Emeishan basalt, there are lower Permian liuqilu formation and the ninth formation limestone, powder crystal limestone and biological bone limestone in Ganhe area and yibeicaozi. From Liujiawan to gaoliangdi in Shimen, there are quartz sandstone siltstone with shale, Cambrian dolomite siltstone and Devonian siltstone in xialiuliang formation and Qilu formation of Permian. In the middle of yichebazi and in the area of old street of Caizi in Yibei, there is a mixture of whole new flow and renewal flow, which is the second alluvial proluvial facies. There are modern alluvial deposits along Xiaomi, Zhongzhai, zhangjiacun, Xiaohe and several Caozi rivers, which are distributed in alluvial facies. In the area of Xiaomi and Yibei laojiezi, Longtan has a rich water block. Most of the strata are inclined from east to west and strike NE and SW. The whole Yiche is eroded landform.
