Surrounded by mountains in the north and east of Geshi Town, the terrain is very dangerous. Shentong mountain has always been a must for military strategists. In the second year of Liang Zhenming (916), Yanzhou Jiedu envoy Zhang Wanjin rebelled against Liang Guijin, and later Liang Taishan Jiedu envoy Liu Fuping led 100000 troops to Shentong mountain. He formed an alliance with local farmer leader Wu GUI in longlai village, and finally captured Zhang Wanjin alive and decapitated him in Geshi village. In the first year of Chunhua (990) of Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty, Hu Yanqing, a famous general of his family, occupied Shentong mountain, recruited soldiers and bought horses, and managed the top of the old village on a large scale. On the mountain, men's camp, women's camp, horse racing field and school training field have been built, up to thousands of people, occupying the child prodigy mountain for eight years. In 1511, Liu Liu, the leader of the peasant uprising in Zhuojun County, Hebei Province, led his army to the South and once occupied the top of the old village of Shentong mountain. Based on this, he conquered Ningyang city to the West and Qufu to the south. In 1640, the 13th year of Chongzhen, when there was a great famine, Ma Liang, a farmer in gushukou, led an uprising in luanshiya. In 1644, Li Zicheng's peasant army entered geshitian in the east of Yuexian County, haoyao banner, in an attempt to capture geshitian and gather food and grass.
