Zaima town is a town under the jurisdiction of Rongjiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is located in the east of Rongjiang county. The town government is 25 kilometers away from the county seat. It is connected with Jiuchao town of Liping County in the northeast and Congjiang County Dongzhen town in the southeast. There is a secondary road, Lirong highway, passing through the town.

On January 14, 2016, the people's Government of Guizhou Province (QFH [2016] No. 19) approved the revocation of the establishment of Zhima town.

In 2011, the township governs 12 administrative villages; in 2015, it governs 1 community and 6 administrative villages after the merger of villages, which are: Zhima community, Gaodong village, Dali Village, Guiliu village, miaolan village, Gali central village and Zaidang central village.

The town has 9234.1 mu of cultivated land, including 8505.1 mu of paddy field, 729 mu of dry land, 0.49 mu per capita; 12126.7 hectares of forest land, 73% of forest coverage. It is a mountainous agricultural comprehensive town with more people, less land, high mountains and deep water, and traditional agriculture as the main body. the altitude of the town government is 570m. It is one of the three poverty-stricken townships determined by the provincial Party committee and the provincial government. At the same time, it is known as "the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" and "the hometown of Dong folk songs" because of its famous Dong folk songs. Zaidang's Dong folk songs and Dali's traditional villages in Zaima township are all beautiful. Zaidang's Dong folk songs have participated in folk cultural and artistic performances at home and abroad for many times, and have been highly praised by experts and scholars.

The town has a population of 19214, including 18846 agricultural residents, accounting for 98.08% of the total population, and 368 non-agricultural residents, accounting for 1.92% of the total population. There are 17167 ethnic minorities, mainly Dong and Miao, accounting for 90% of the total population. In 2014, the per capita net income of farmers in Zhima town was 5931 yuan, and the per capita grain was 280 kg. there are 21 party branches, 12 rural branches and 9 government branches in the town. Located in the subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, zhuima town has sufficient light and rainfall all year round. The trees grow luxuriantly, the vegetation is well protected, and the weather is warm and cool all year round. The main mineral resources are silica and kaolin, the main crops are rice, corn, potato, rape, various vegetables, soybeans, peanuts and millet, beans, watermelons, etc., the main agricultural products are mushrooms, fungus, Gastrodia elata, Poria cocos, etc., and the economic forests are waxberry, hickory, peach, chestnut, etc. Animal husbandry mainly includes pigs, small cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese and fish in rice fields.

Located in the southeast of Guizhou Province, zhema town is a typical karst landform area, most of which are mainly mountainous areas, with an average altitude of 750 meters. The highest altitude is 935 meters in Xiaoli village, and the lowest is 400 meters in Jixiong village, gaopa village. The frost free period is more than 280 days, and the annual sunshine is up to 6 hours. 308 provincial road runs through the whole territory and is the basic guarantee for the industrial development, infrastructure and life of Zhima township. Dali Dong Village
Located in the southwest of Zhima Town, Rongjiang County, it is 7.5km away from the town government, 26.5km away from the county seat, and 4.5km away from rongjingong line (308 provincial road), connected by asphalt road. The village governs 6 villager groups, 308 households, with a total population of 1319 and labor force of 788. The total land area of the village is 9.8 square kilometers, with an altitude of 898 meters. The village is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Two streams pass through the village. The natural and ecological environment is beautiful and unique. There is a unique ancient Dong residence in the Dong area, the Dong courtyard. There are carved stone roads built in the Qing Dynasty. Five simple wind and rain bridges across the stream are rare in the Dong area. The footpaths in the village are paved with stone roads or cobblestones, and there are 128 nanmu trees , yew, maple and other ancient trees. There are ancient buildings in the village of SAMA Tai, which are called "Oriental Pearl" hidden in the deep mountains. In December 2006, Dali Dong village was listed in the preparatory list of world cultural heritage; in October 2010, Dali Dong village was announced as an ecological village by Guizhou Provincial Environmental Protection Department; in November 2011, Dali Dong village was announced as "charming Dong village" by Guizhou Dong Studies Research Association; in June 2012, Dali Dong village was listed as "hundred villages plan" and "village cultural landscape protection demonstration village" by Guizhou Province; in December 2012, Dali Dong village was announced as "China's first batch of traditional villages" by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development In April 2013, it was announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of key cultural relics protection units in China, "Dali Dong Village ancient buildings"; Dali Dong village, as the Sixth Batch of Chinese historical and cultural villages, is in the process of declaration.
Zaidang Dong Village
It is located in 90000 mountains, with the altitude of 718m. It is a plateau climate, warm in winter and cool in summer. The annual average temperature is 17.8 ℃, the annual rainfall is 1200mm, and the frost free period is 278 days. It is a place for summer vacation and leisure. Located in the east of Rongjiang County, 25 kilometers, 8 kilometers away from the town government. The village has five villager groups, two natural villages (Zaidang and Jiashao), 325 households, 1430 people and a land area of 7 square kilometers. in 2014, the construction of "harmonious village" and "civilized village" has achieved remarkable results.
