Liguan Town, subordinate to Wafangdian City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located at the northernmost end of Wafangdian City, adjacent to Xutun town in the East, Tucheng Township and Zhaotun Township in the south, Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea in the west, Gaizhou city in Yingkou and Bayuquan District across the Fudu River in the North. Historical evolution
The area under the jurisdiction of Liguan town was originally Huatong District Office, Wanfu County, Liaodong province.
Since the establishment of Huatong District in June 1947, it has been under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District, the third district, Yongning district and Liguan commune of Fuxian county.
In August 1948, the county moved to Fuzhou in September of the same year.
In April 1949, he moved back to Wafangdian and became a member of Liaodong Province in May of the same year.
