Jiuwu town
JiuWu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Lingchuan County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located 34 kilometers away from the northwest corner of Guilin city and the northwest of Lingchuan County, 18 kilometers away from Lingchuan County. It borders Longsheng County in the northwest, Sanjie town in the East, Xing'an County in the northeast, Gongping Township in the West and tanxia town in the south, with a total administrative area of 311.4 square kilometers. In the early 1950's, Lingyan Township and Liangjiang Township were merged into JiuWu district. In 2005, Lingchuan County adjusted its administrative division, and Qingshitan Township, Gongping Township and Jiuwu town were merged into Qingshitan town. At the end of December 2013, Lingchuan County adjusted its administrative divisions and re established Gongping Township and Jiuwu town. By the end of 2018, Jiuwu town has a total population of 31100 people, including Han, Yao, Zhuang, Hui and other ethnic groups; by the end of 2019, it has 15 administrative villages and 1 community, and the town government is located in Jiushi No.2, Jiuwu town.
In 2017, the financial revenue of Jiuwu town was 6.35 million yuan, including 900000 yuan of local tax, 5.45 million yuan of national tax, 180 million yuan of fixed asset investment, and 18 industrial enterprises in 2018.
Historical evolution
In the early 1950's, Lingyan Township and Liangjiang Township were merged into JiuWu district.
In 1951, Yining County was merged into Lingchuan County, and Jiuwu is the Fifth District of Lingchuan County.
In 1954, Lingchuan County was merged into Lingui County, and Jiuwu belonged to the fourteenth District of Lingui county.
In 1957, District 14 (Jiuwu) was divided into two districts: Jiuwu and Lantian.
In 1958, Jiuwu town was transformed from a junior commune to a senior commune to a people's commune, and was reorganized into an administrative system of county, commune, production brigade and production brigade. The 14 districts of Jiuwu belong to the Jiuwu people's commune of Lingui County, and the original small township was transformed into a senior commune of production brigade.
In 1961, Jiuwu town was divided into Lingchuan County and Lingchuan County,

On December 17, 2012, Jiangtou village and Laozhai village of Jiuwu town were listed in the first batch of traditional villages by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development of the people's Republic of China, the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China and the Ministry of finance of the people's Republic of China.
On August 26, 2013, Xinzhai village of Jiuwu town was listed in the second batch of traditional villages list by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development of the people's Republic of China, the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China and the Ministry of finance of the people's Republic of China.
The formation of "Lotus loving culture" in Jiangtou village of Jiuwu town is mainly based on Zhou Dunyi's Lotus loving theory as the spiritual concept: educating people, improving personality, establishing moral standards, being an official, being clear and honest, serving the people, advocating Confucianism, and being keen on increasing wisdom and erudition.
