Fenggang Township
Fenggang township is located 35 kilometers north of Gushi County. Shiguan river passes through the township. It faces Xuji Township in the East, XiangLiu town in the west, Lidian Township in the South and Sanhejian town in the north. The total area of the township is 83.5 square kilometers, with a total cultivated area of 45649.68 Mu and a population of 61947.
Division evolution
In the Ming Dynasty, Gushi County was under the jurisdiction of five townships, and Fenggang (Qiaogou) belonged to lianganli, a legacy township at that time. In the Qing Dynasty, the system of Xiang, Li, Bao and Jia was implemented, with four townships under the jurisdiction of the county, four Li and 116 Bao under the jurisdiction of the township, and Qiaogou belonged to lianganli, a North Township. In the early years of the Republic of China, the abandoned township was divided into districts, with ten districts in the county, and Qiaogou belonged to Jiangji, five districts. In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), the ten districts were combined into five districts, and five districts were set up in In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the district and Lianbao were removed and 20 townships (towns) were set up, of which qiaogouji township was one. In 1947, some areas of Gushi County established a patriotic and democratic government with the cooperation of Liu and Deng's army. In November 1948, the patriotic and democratic government moved to Chengguan, and the county reestablished the grass-roots political power organization. At that time, the county had nine administrative regions. Qiaogou was now eight districts. The first Secretary of the District Committee, Wang Qingqi (concurrently, later replaced by Meng Changgeng), district chief Ye Maoqing, and deputy district chief Lu Jisheng. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, in December 1949, the county was divided into ten districts, and Qiaogou district was divided into eight districts. On August 2, 1951, Qiaogou district was assigned to the newly established Huaibin office. In June 1960, Huaibin County was abolished, and Qiaogou (now the commune) was under the jurisdiction of Gushi County. In September 1961, the commune was changed into a district system, and Qiaogou District governed four small communes, namely Wanggang, Sanhejian, Daqiao and Zuowei. In June 1962, the district and small commune were abolished In June 1962, wangpeng, Huangzhai, wengpeng, bengshan, wanwei, Wanggang, zhouying, Changgang, Huangying, sanhuai, Jianwan, guying, Gangkou and other brigades of Wanggang and Sanhejian communes under the jurisdiction of Qiaogou District belong to the newly established Sanhejian people's commune. In August 1975, Wenta, Jiamiao and Shengang, the three brigades to the east of Quanhe River, belonged to the newly established Xuji people's commune. In March 1978, a part of Daqiao group was set up to add Pantai group, a part of Yaowei group was set up to add seed farm group, and a part of Fengpeng and Lipeng groups were set up to add Liuliqiao farm group. In December 1983, the county's agricultural commune was restored to the township system, and Qiaogou people's commune was renamed qiaogouji township. In November 1987, ten administrative villages (34.5 square kilometers), including daomiao, Zhulou, Jungang, Tongying, Taidi, Fenggang, Daqiao, Pantai, fuzhai and Panzhuang, were designated as the newly established Fenggang office, and Fenggang township was established with provincial approval. At the end of 2005, the township organization reform, Qiaogou township was abolished and merged into Fenggang township. The people's Government of Fenggang Township moved from Fenggang street to Qiaogou street. It is now Fenggang township.
Administrative division
Fenggang Township now governs 22 administrative villages and one neighborhood committee. The basic situation is as follows: Zhaowei village is located in the south of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 3536 mu. It governs 16 villager groups of Mazhuang, Lizhuang, shenzhuang, Gaowei, Zhaolou, Laozhuang, Yaozhuang, zhouying, Zhaodian, tangguaizi, Xintang, Dadi, Zhaowei, Nanhang, Donghang and Xinzhuang, with a total number of 761 households and a total population of 2773. Yangzhuang village is located in the west of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 3229.38 mu. It governs 15 villager groups, including beizhangying, xizhangying, nanzhangying, xiwafang, fanqiao, Huoying, Quxi, Laozhuang, laowei, Zuozhuang, Yangzhuang, Sanwei, dongwafang, Dadi and Xintang, with a total number of 661 households and a total population of 3168. Gaozhuang village is located in the western suburb of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1821 mu. It governs 12 villager groups, namely Gaozhuang, xizhangying, dongzhangying, Huangzhuang, Wangzhuang, Cuizhuang, Zuozhuang, Wangtang, Daizhuang, zhangfangxi, zhangfangdong and Mengzhuang, with a total number of 581 households and a total population of 2383. Fengpeng village is located in the north of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1492.5 mu. It governs ten villager groups: chenglaoweizi, liangyingzi, taoyingzi, Fengpeng, panxiaoyingzi, liwafang, sanlizhuang, wanglaozhuang, Xiangli and Huangzhuang, with a total number of 516 households and a total population of 1987. Lipeng village is located in the northeast of Fenggang Township, covering an area of 1415 mu. It governs eleven villager groups, including Lipeng, Daba, lixiaozhuang, Lilou, wangweizi, xiweizi, wanzhuangzi, Guozhuang, Fanzhuang, Ligang and Menlou, with a total number of 493 households and a total population of 1925. Gaowei village is located in the north of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 3787.7 mu. It governs 13 villager groups, including fanyingzi, wangyingzi, Zhuzhuang, Gaowei, Zhuzhuang, Zhuxi, Xiatang, Tangzhuang, Zhuzhai, Liuzhuang, Futang, wangcaofang and Huangzhuang, with a total number of 743 households and a total population of 2960. zizichang village is located in the south of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1076.5 mu. It governs six villager groups: Muchang, houhuoying, gucunsi, panying, raozhuang and wogulou, with a total number of 330 households and a total population of 1235. Yaowei village is located in the southwest of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated land area of 2220 mu. It governs ten villager groups: Yaowei, Huowei, xihuoying, Laozhuang, huopeng, lishuzhuang, Wangzhuang, huonanzhuang, Miaozhuang and gaotangwu, with a total number of 469 households and a total population of 1986. Zuowu village is located in the middle of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1683 mu. It has eight villager groups: Zuowei, shangzuowei, Miaoshan, qilijing, wulizhuan, yangyingzi, gaoxiaomiao and Wafang, with a total number of 531 households and a total population of 2043. Xieji village is located in the west of Fenggang Township, with an area of 2857.4 mu of arable land. It has 14 villager groups, including Xieji North team, Xieji South team, Xinjie, Sizhuang, Sipeng, xudadi, Xialou, zuowuzi, gaoweizi, zhuyingzi, Qianjin, Wangzhuang, Xindian and wamiao, with a total number of 747 households and a total population of 3001. Zhangji village is located in the northwest of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated land area of 1785.4 mu. It governs 12 villager groups including liuweizi, Huangzhuang, lingzhuang, tujingyan, Qiangang, xiweizi, Wanggang, Siwei, Gangdong, Gangxi, Beitou and Nantou, with a total number of 695 households and a total population of 2536. Xinqiao village is located in the north of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 380 mu. It governs two villager groups, group 1 and group 2, with a total number of 112 households and a total population of 321. Daomiao village is located in the south of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1985 mu. It governs 16 villager groups, including ancestral hall, Dingwei, Huangyi, huanger, Huangsan, Litai, chentai, Dukou, Huowei, Baitai, Gaotai, daomiao, zengtai, Cuiwei, Yutai and Shiyuan, with a total population of 3564. Zhulou village is located in the south of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 2000 mu. It governs 16 villager groups including Shunhe, Digeng, goubei, Zhulou, Yuanguai, Dongtan, houwei, tangmiao, Houying, xicangwu, Laozhuang, Xintai, miaomenkou, dongcangwu, Qianwei and xiaohedong, with a total population of 3390. Tongying village is located in the east of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1717 mu. It has 15 villager groups, including Fanji, dengfang, gouwai, Qiandai, shatai, Nanqiao, Shazhou, Xintai, Cangwu, laoheyan, Caiying, xiaotongying, Xinhe, Datongying and Muchang, with a total population of 2653. Fuzhai village is located in the north of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 2690 mu. It has 16 villager groups, including Shenying, Zhangzhuang, xiaoyuying, dayuying, Daba, laopo, Huying, Qianxi, Qiandong, houdingying, Nangeng, xigeng, zhaixi, zhaidong, Houzhai and beigeng, with a total population of 4290. Taidi village is located in the east of Fenggang Township, with an area of 2444 mu of arable land. It governs 15 villager groups, including Zhangzhuang, Yangying, Dayuan, ouying, Hetai, Qiantang, Wantai, Liyuan, Taidi, goubei, Shunhe, Pudong, Puxi, Zhuangtai and Chenying, with a total population of 2894. Daqiao village is located in the east of Fenggang Township, along the Shiguan River, with a cultivated area of 1757 mu. It governs 14 villager groups, including Yaotai, Xiaoqiao, tangkui, Tangxi, Tangdong, Jingdong, waying, Taoying, Xiaozhai, niushu, Daqiao, Liuying, Huling and Miaotai, with a total population of 2753. Fenggang village is located in the northeast of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 2310 mu. It governs 13 villager groups including Yingtai, gangtao, Leixi, Leidong, leiying, donggeng, gengguai, Daiying, zhangnao, Chudong, Chuxi, xiaotai and Heyan, with a total population of 3419. Pantai village is located in the northeast of Fenggang Township, along the Shiguan River, with a cultivated area of 1444 mu. It governs seven villager groups of Meitai, Xintai, Caitai, Pantai, Wangtai, Lizhuang and Caomiao, with a total population of 2525. Panzhuang village is located in the northeast of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 2800 mu. It has 12 villager groups including dongdui, Xidui, Gaotai, Xintai, Gengwan, Shuangtai, Chuntai, Luotai, Caitai, Yanzhou, Dukou and Dawu, with a total population of 3267. Jungang village is located in the east of Fenggang Township, with a cultivated area of 1083 mu. It governs 11 villager groups including Sanli, Datai, Yuanxi, Yuandong, Jungang, Huyan, Xuwei, Yaotai, Tangyan, Waxi and Wadong, with a total population of 2282. Qiaogou street is the political, economic, cultural and traffic center of Fenggang township. It is the seat of the township government. The total area of the block is 4.8 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 220 mu. It governs the four streets of East, West, South and North, and the two villager groups of Zhongqiao and Sunying, with a total number of 1162 households and a total population of 4221 people.
Development of agriculture and handicraft industry
Fenggang township is a big agricultural township with a grain planting area of more than 50000 mu. In 2007, the grain output reached 250 million tons. At present, Fenggang township has initially formed a small willow production base and a demonstration base of characteristic planting, breeding and processing industry, which has directly promoted the increase of farmers' income.
