Lushaer Town, located in the middle of Huangzhong District, Xining City, Qinghai Province, is the resident of the people's Government of the district. It connects the city in the East, the general village in the south, Shangxinzhuang town in the south, Ganhetan town in the West and Xibao town in the north, with an administrative area of 183 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 57482 people had registered residence in the town of Lu. In the October 2019, 4 communities and 33 administrative villages were administered in the town of Lu. The town government was stationed at 59 of Qingzhen lane.

History of construction
In 1943, Xining county was transferred to lushar and then became the county government.
In 1949, a cultural township was built along the old system.
In 1956, it was a town under the jurisdiction of the county.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Dongfanghong commune.
In 1960, lushar commune was established.
In 1984, the town of lushar was restored.
On January 16, 2001, four villages (xujiazhai, Dongcun, Xicun and chenjiatan) in Zongzhai township of Huangzhong County were incorporated into the government of lushar Town, which governs 20 villages and 2 community residents committees (lushar I and lushar II).
In 2006, 13 village committees of Dayuan Township were merged into lushar town.
