Xiangxian Town, belonging to Shanglin County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Shanglin county. It is adjacent to Baiwei Town, Binyang four towns and Xinqiao Town in the East, Binyang and Silong towns in the south, Matou town in Wuming in the West and Mingliang town in the north. The administrative area of Xiangxian town is 180.4 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xiang Xian town was 45987.
In 1933, Xiangxian township was established. In 1953, Xiangxian township was changed into Wanjia district. In 1958, Wanjia district was first changed to Xiangxian District, and then to Xiangxian commune. In 1960, Xiangxian commune was changed into Xiangxian district. In 1969, xiangxiangong district was changed into Xiangxian commune. In August 1984, Xiangxian commune was changed into Xiangxian town. As of June 2020, Xiangxian town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 12 administrative villages. The town people's government is stationed in xiangxianwei.
