Baijie town
Baijie town belongs to Hengshan District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the northeast of Hengshan District, adjacent to Yuhe town of Yuyang District in the southeast, Yuyang town of Yuyang District in the northeast, Wuding River across Xiangshui town in the south, BOLUO town in the West and Qinhe township of Yuyang District in the north. The total area is 375 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
It got its name from the town people's Government in Baijie village.
Ming is Yulin Weixiang water fort. The Qing Dynasty belonged to Xiangshuibao, Huaiyuan County, Yulin Prefecture.
In 1914, Huaiyuan County was renamed Hengshan County, which belongs to Hengshan County.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Xiangshuibao, Hengshan County, Yulin Prefecture.
In November 1949, it belongs to Hebei District of Hengshan County.
In January 1950, it belongs to Yulin County.
In 1956, it belonged to Xiangshui District of Hengshan County.
In November 1958, Baijie commune was established, with 22 production brigades and 46 production brigades under its jurisdiction. In December of the same year, the county was merged with Yulin County.
In September 1961, it was restored to Hengshan County.
In December 1984, it was changed to Baijie township.
On June 28, 2015, Shaanxi Province adjusted the township administrative division, abolished Baijie Township and established Baijie town.
