Yongzhou town
Yongzhou Town, subordinate to Mashan County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Mashan County, adjacent to Zhoulu town in the East, Lingma town in Wuming County in the southeast, Sitang, Pozao and Jiucheng towns in Pingguo County in the South and West, and Gonghe Township in Dahua Yao Autonomous County in the north. The administrative area of Yongzhou town is 213.98 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yongzhou town was 57571.
In 1958, Yongzhou commune was established. In 1962, Yongzhou commune was changed into Yongzhou district. In 1969, Yongzhou district was changed into Yongzhou commune and Zhouwei commune was established. In 1984, Yongzhou commune was replaced by Yongzhou Township, and Zhouwei commune was replaced by Zhouwei township. In July 1998, Yongzhou township was changed into Yongzhou town. As of June 2020, Yongzhou town has jurisdiction over one community and 17 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in yongguwei, Yongzhou village.
In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Yongzhou town.
History of construction
In 1958, Yongzhou commune was established.
In 1962, Yongzhou commune was changed into Yongzhou district.
In 1969, Yongzhou district was changed into Yongzhou commune and Zhouwei commune was established.
In 1984, Yongzhou commune was replaced by Yongzhou Township, and Zhouwei commune was replaced by Zhouwei township.
In July 1998, Yongzhou township was changed into Yongzhou town.

Yongzhou town belongs to the red water section of the Pearl River system. One branch of Qingbo river originates from Gonghe Township, Dahua County, enters from ZAOJIA village and flows through moral education, Shengli, Yongzhou and other villages; the other branch originates from the southern hilly area and flows through Qingshan, Pingshan, Zhouwei and other villages. Surface river and underground river appear alternately. It flows from Wunong and Dawang to the north through Zhoulu town and to Hongshui River in Gongchuan Township, Dahua County.
