Jiulian Town, belonging to Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Guyuan County, adjacent to huangganao town in the East, Chabei Administrative Region in the south, Kangbao County in the west, Taipusi Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north, 60 kilometers away from the people's Government of Jieyuan County, with a total area of 322 square kilometers.

In 1948, Jiulian town belonged to the Second District of Baoyuan County; in October 2007, it was changed from jiuliancheng township to Jiulian town.
