Jicheng town

Jicheng town is located in the west of Linquan county. It borders Baimiao town in the East, Jiangzhai town in the south, Guanmiao town in the west, lilaozhuang Township in Shenqiu County and Xinqiao Town in Xiangcheng County in Henan Province in the north. In October 2016, pangying township was put under the jurisdiction of hocheng Town, with a total area of 97.69 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of three communities, 19 village committees, a provincial Leather Industrial Park and a provincial migrant workers' entrepreneurship Park, with a total population of 12373900, cultivated land area of 101800 mu, and permanent residents of Han and Hui Nationalities. The four markets in Linquan are yichengji, pangyingji, sanqiaoji and hanlaojiaji, which are the largest market towns in the west of Linquan.

Mincheng town has a long history and culture. The word "mincheng" is specially designed for mincheng Town, which is the unique name of Linquan mincheng town. Jicheng, formerly known as Tongyang, is an ancient city of Han Dynasty. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, it was one of the four towns in Fuyang, and it was a big city where merchants gathered and trade flourished. Linquan county was built in 1935 and named as Jicheng. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, especially since the reform and opening up, with its rapid economic development and all-round social progress, Yicheng has become an economic, cultural, scientific, technological and educational center within dozens of miles. Fuyang City in 1999 was identified as the center of the town, deputy county system.

The transportation is convenient, extending in all directions. Provincial highway S102 passes through the territory. It is connected with national highway G106 in the West and 12 km away from Daguang Expressway. It is the west gate of Fuyang in Anhui Province. It is close to Fuyang marshalling station in the East, Dajingjiu in the East and 70 km away from Fuyang airport. It is a north-south traffic trunk line, QiaoXin Road, connecting with Xinqiao Town of Xiangcheng in Henan Province. It has become one of the traffic arteries in Northwest Anhui Province and Southeast Henan Province.

With the development of the times, based on the historical and cultural heritage, Yicheng has developed and innovated the concept of cultural and economic development under the new situation, formed a unique leather culture, established the Yicheng Leather Association and established the ecological leather processing base.
