Yunfu state owned shuitai forest farm is located at 112.08 E and 23.26 n. It is located in shuitai Town, Xinxing County, 30 kilometers away from Xinxing County. It borders Heshan City in the East, Kaiping City in the south, Gaoming City and Gaoyao City in the north. Shuanghe line of dahuanshi road in Jiangmen City runs through shuitai Town, 38 kilometers south of Kaiyang expressway, so the traffic is very convenient. Shuitai forest farm was established in 1960, with an area of 16900 mu. The forest land under its jurisdiction is low mountains and hills, with an altitude of 50-180 meters. The highest peak is 186 meters above sea level. The slope of forest land is generally below 20. The soil is low hilly red soil developed from granite and shale, which belongs to subtropical marine monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is 21.6c, and the extreme maximum temperature is 38.2c, The extreme minimum temperature is - 2.3c and the annual rainfall is 1613.9mm. The average annual relative temperature is about 82%. shuitai forest farm is mainly composed of ecological public welfare forest, commercial forest and economic forest. The commercial forest is mainly composed of Pinus thunbergii and other foreign pines. The economic forest fruits include citrus, olive, green plum, longan and so on. The ecological public welfare forest plays an important ecological benefit for the surrounding areas and is the main water conservation forest area of shuitai town and Kaiping town. There are 60 cadres and workers in shuitai forest farm, including 17 in-service and 43 retirees. There are four working areas: Zhutang, forestry school, Xiawei and huangpokeng. There are four units in the Department, namely accounting unit, production unit, forest protection unit and office, and shuitai police station of Yunfu Forest Branch Bureau.
