Judge town
Judge Town, which belongs to Shanyang County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of Shanyang County, adjacent to Yanping town in the East, Manchuanguan town in the West and south, and Zhongcun Town, gaobadian town and banyan town in the north. The total area is 94.10 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, judge town has jurisdiction over one community and five administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town of judges was 13721. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of judge town reached 61.67 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4360 yuan.
Historical evolution
It got its name from the temple of judges in China.
In February 1950, the township of judge was established.
In 1958, it was changed into a production management area, belonging to Manchuan (Chaoying) commune.
In August 1961, it was changed into a commune.
In 1984, the township was restored.
In April 1997, Liangcha township was incorporated.
In December 2001, qiaotouxi township was incorporated.
In June 2011, the township was transformed into a town.

Judge town is located in the southern foot of the Uighur ridge, at the foot of Tianzhu Mountain, high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The main peaks are shuangfengguan and dadiantang; the highest peak is located in shuangfengguan, with an altitude of 1990 meters; the lowest point is qiandianzi, at the junction of Manchuan, with an altitude of 750 meters.
