Daping farm

Daping farm, founded in 1959, is located in the southwest of Puning City, Jieyang City, with a total land area of 3000 hectares and a total population of 6396 people (2010).

For a long time, Daping farm is mainly engaged in rubber, tea, fruit trees and grain cultivation. Shijingmei village and dapingwei village of the farm are rich in green plum, which is known as "plum town"; the "Eight Immortals tea" of Liangting village is well-known, and it is popular all over the country.

Since 2007, with the strong support of the Ministry of agriculture, General Administration of land reclamation and Jieyang Bureau of land reclamation, the second generation natural rubber base has been developed on a large scale in order to speed up the pace of industrial restructuring. At present, the rubber planting area has reached 6000 mu. In 2010, Daping farm was rated as "advanced unit of Guangdong Agricultural Reclamation in 2009-2010" by the Provincial Bureau of agricultural reclamation.
