MuNiu town
Muliu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County. It is connected with Sanjiazi town by wanglao mountain of Gaoguanling in the East, Yaoshan town in the southeast, Dafangshen town in the southwest, Jiewen town of Haicheng City by yunfengling in the West and Liaoyang County of Liaoyang City by wanshuiling in the north, with an administrative area of 220 square kilometers.
During the war of liberation, it belonged to Qingcheng County Committee of the Communist Party of China. Taking Mu Niu River as the boundary, the four villages of damuguyu, zhongjiabaozi, xiaomuguyu and nanmayu on the south bank belong to Xianglu District Committee; Dehe village, Mu Niu he village and yilindian village on the north bank belong to jiugou district; in July 1985, the commune was abolished and Mu Niu township was established; in October 2011, Mu Niu township was set up. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 16091. As of June 2020, MuNiu town has jurisdiction over six administrative villages.

History of construction
During the war of liberation, it belonged to Qingcheng County Committee of the Communist Party of China. In December 1948, Qingcheng county was abolished and transferred to Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County.
After March 1958, MuNiu, Sanjiazi and Jiucai were merged into jiugou district.
In July 1961, the district was withdrawn and the cattle herding commune was established separately.
In July 1985, the commune was abolished and Mu Niu township was established.
In October 2011, muliu township was set up as a town.
