Wuku Town, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Wudu District, bordering Sancang town and yuezhao Township in the East, Kouba Township in Wenxian County in the south, Jianshan Township in Wenxian County in the West and waina town in the north. It is 41.52 km away from Wudu City, with a total area of 179.56 square kilometers.
In 1935, Wuku town was the third district office, belonging to houwaina township; in 2018, it was changed from Wuku township to Wuku town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in five towns was 12324. As of June 2020, Wuku town has 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Wuku town is located in fudianba village.

History of construction
In 1935, it was the Third District Office of houwaina township.
In 1941, it was Wuku township.
In December 1949, it belonged to the penetration area.
In July 1950, it was changed into a Buddhist temple town, and a noisy courtyard town was added.
In July 1952, Buddha Hall and naoyuan Township were assigned to Pingtou district.
In 1953, Zhongyuan township was added, and was assigned to Pingtou district.
In June 1956, Buddha Hall and Zhongyuan Township were merged into Wuku township.
In March 1958, naoyuan township was merged into Wuku township; in October of the same year, Wuku commune was established; in November of the same year, yuezhao commune was merged.
In June 1961, it was divided into yuezhao commune and Wuku commune.
In 1983, Wuku commune was changed into Wuku township.
In 2018, Wuku township was changed from township to town.
