Taopi town

Taopi Town, belonging to Yihuang County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northwest of Yihuang County, adjacent to Lixi town of Yihuang County in the East, Fenggang town of Yihuang County in the south, Xufang town of Chongren County in the West and Longxi town of Linchuan District in the north. It is the location of rich industrial park in Yihuang County. With a total area of 85.4 square kilometers, the town has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages and 65 villager groups. In late 2018, there were 15 thousand and 600 registered residence population in Peach Town.

Historical evolution

In the first year of Kaibao in Song Dynasty (968), it belongs to the nine capitals of Daixian township.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Meifang Township, the Sixth District.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Taoxi, zengfang, Meifang, Shenghua, Dagang and other five townships belong to the Sixth District (later changed to Lixi District); in 1956, Meifang township was merged after the district was withdrawn; in 1958, it was transferred into Lixi commune when the people's Commune was established; in 1961, it was transferred into Meifang commune; in 1967, it was renamed Dongsheng commune; in 1969, it was still incorporated into Lixi commune; in 1972, it was separated into taopi commune In June 1984, taopi commune changed its name to taopi township; in November 2011, taopi township was established.

Taopi town is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, surrounded by mountains, with hills accounting for 30% and mountains accounting for 70%. The highest point of dongchaoshan is 288 meters above sea level, and the lowest point of zengfang is about 50 meters above sea level.

Taopi town belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate, warm and humid, the annual average temperature is 17.4 ℃, the average temperature in January is 5.4 ℃, the average temperature in July is 28.8 ℃. The annual frost free period is about 280 days, the first frost period is in the middle of December, and the last frost period is in the middle of February. The annual precipitation is 1879.9mm, and the water distribution is mostly in spring and summer, but rarely in autumn and winter.
