Bogan Township, subordinate to Dongxiang District, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of Dongxiang district. It is adjacent to Yujiang District, Yingtan City in the East, Xiaohuang town in the West and Yugan County in the north. It is 20km away from Dongxiang City, 6km away from Yujiang city and 22km away from Yingtan City. Changjing highway, Liwen Expressway and Hangzhou Changsha high speed railway pass through the area. With an area of 54.5 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages and 71 village groups. In late 2018, the population of Po Town township had 19 thousand and 700 registered residence.

History of construction
The first year of the Republic of China (1912), Jianxiang, is the first district, under the jurisdiction of eight Bao.
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the second district (Xiaohuang District); in April 1956, the second district was abolished and lipogan township was established; in 1961, the pogan commune was established; in June 1984, the pogan commune was abolished and lipogan township was established.
