Nanxiaowang town

Nanxiaowang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Boye County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the central and southern part of Boye county. It is adjacent to Liwu town of Lixian County in the north and East, Chengwei town in the southeast, Madian town of Anping County of Hengshui City in the South and Shifo town of Anguo City in the West. The maximum distance between East and West is 5.625 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 13.05 km, with a total area of 52.95 square kilometers. At the end of 2018, the total population of the original South Xiao Wang Township registered residence was 37920.

In 1962, Nanxiaowang and Tonglian people's communes were established. In 1983, Nanxiaowang Township and Tonglian Township were established. In 1996, Tonglian township was merged into Nanxiaowang township. On February 13, 2019, Boye County abolished Nanxiaowang Township and established Nanxiaowang town. As of June 2020, Nanxiaowang town has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at No. 49 Anshun Road, Nanxiaowang village.

Historical evolution

In 1957, Nanxiaowang town set up shijiazuo and Tonglian townships.

In 1958, it was incorporated into Lixian County and belonged to Xinxin people's commune; in October of the same year, it was transferred to Anguo and belonged to Xinxin people's commune.

In 1962, it returned to Boye county and established Nanxiaowang and Tonglian people's communes.

In 1983, Nanxiaowang Township and Tonglian Township were established.

In 1996, Tonglian township was merged into Nanxiaowang township.

On February 13, 2019, Boye County abolished Nanxiaowang Township and established Nanxiaowang town.
