Dongcheng Street
Dongcheng Street is the easternmost street in Hongshan District of Chifeng City. It starts from Donghan River in the west, Hongshan irrigation canal in the East, Yingjin River in the north and Chiping highway in the south. It covers an area of 24.75 square kilometers and has a total population of 38415 people (in 2010). There are six community neighborhood committees: Qianxi community, Daying community, botanical garden community, Fulong community, Hongshan community and Huayuan community.

Historical evolution
Dongcheng sub district office, founded in 1984, originally belongs to Yongju sub district office. Later, it is divided into two parts with Hanhe River to the east of Yongju sub district office. There are nine neighborhood committees with 10600 households and 26500 residents.

Dongcheng Street is located in the center of industrial development in Hongshan District. The high-tech park in Hongshan District is under construction. The National Forest Park, botanical garden and Hongshan park are the three leading industries to drive the city's tourism.
