Pinghu street, belonging to Shuangyang District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the middle of Shuangyang District and on both sides of Shuangyang reservoir. History of construction
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to suwayan station of Jilin Province. Qing Xuantong two years (1910), is a police district (county Castle).
In 1937, it belonged to Shuangyang street. In 1947, it belonged to one district (Chengguan District).
In 1955, it belonged to Shuangyang Town.
In 1961, shuangyanghe commune was established in Shuangyang Town.
In 1984, shuangyanghe commune was transformed into shuangyanghe township.
In 1995, shuangyanghe township was changed into Pinghu street.
