Tiannan Town, belonging to Gao'an City, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southwest of Gao'an City, with a total area of 98.89 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over Tiannan Street neighborhood committee, Tiannan, Qiaotou, Shangli, Chencun, Guangcheng, Luojia, Zhangjia, Fuwei, Xinwu and other nine village committees, with a permanent resident population of 11308 (2017). It is a member of the Jiangyou ethnic group of the Han nationality and is commonly spoken in Jiangxi.
There are many low hills in the territory, the terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, and the plain area is larger than the mountain area. The main vegetation is pine, fir and Camellia oleifera forest. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The highest point is Fuxiang mountain, 356.1 meters above sea level. The lowest point is Chenjia village, 41.1 meters above sea level. The streams of the mountain range are in northwest southeast trend; the mountain range extends from the remaining veins of Mengshan mountain, with 494 large and small mountains, and Fuxiang mountain is the top of the mountains, covering an area of 300 hectares.
