Dongdadao Township
East Avenue Township, Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province, is located in the western part of Chaoyang County, east of Longping District, dadilung town and Yang Shu Wan Township, adjacent to the South and wood Town, the West and borochi Town, North and Jianping County, Yulin forest bordering, the area of 127.12 square meters, as of 2018, the registered residence population of 12910 people.
In September 1936, dongdadao village office was established as a large bungalow. In October 1949, dongdadao district was abolished and transferred to the government of Dapingfang district. In January 2002, the yangshuwan area was designated as Jianxiang. In August 2004, 10 villages were merged into 8 villages. As of June 2020, Dongda road has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.
In 2018, there were five industrial enterprises in dongdadao Township, including one above scale and nine comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In September 1936, dongdadao village office was established as a large bungalow.
In September 1945, it was changed to dongdadao district.
In the winter of 1947, Chaoyang was liberated and the East Avenue was built.
In October 1949, dongdadao district was abolished and transferred to the government of Dapingfang district.
In February 1956, the district was changed into a township. Dongdadao township was divided into dongdadao and nailingao.
In 1958, dongdadao and nailingao were assigned to Dapingfang township. In October of the same year, it was changed into a bungalow commune.
In June 1962, Dongda road was set up from the big bungalow commune.
Before 1980, dongdadao commune had jurisdiction over eight production brigades.
In 1981, two production teams were set up in the upper three production teams, the new Beilu and Beiliang production teams, and the whole commune was divided into 10 production teams. After the township system was restored, they were all changed into villages.
In March 1984, dongdadao township was restored.
In August 1999, the township was merged into the town, and yangshuwan township was merged into dongdadao township.
In January 2002, the yangshuwan area was designated as Jianxiang.
In August 2004, 10 villages were merged into 8 villages, bujiagou village was merged into dongdadao village, shangsanjia village was merged into dabeiliang village, and 76 villager groups were set up in the township.

History and culture
Dongdadao township was originally named hengdaozi village. During the Japanese puppet period, a road was built in the east of the village, named dongdadao. In December 1933, the East Avenue station was built on the east side of the East Avenue, hence the name of the village.
