Jiangyou Jiangyou City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, is located in the middle and upper reaches of Fujiang River in the northeast of Sichuan Province and the northern edge of Sichuan Basin. Its geographical location is between 31 ° 32 ′ 26 ″ - 32 ° 19 ′ 18 ″ N and 104 ° 31 ′ 35 ″ - 105 ° 17 ′ 30 ″ E. The outline of the city is in the shape of a strip from northeast to southwest, with a width of 48.4 km from east to west and a length of 86.6 km from north to south, covering an area of 2719 square kilometers. In the 25th year of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Deyang county was set up in YANMENBA. In 505, Jiangyou county and Jiangyou county were set up in Nanba, Pingwu County, and Longzhou was set up in Yinping county. But Jiangyou county and Zhangming county have inherited it. On September 5, 1958, the State Council decided to abolish Jiangyou and Zhangming counties and merge them into jiangzhang County, with Zhongba town. On April 30, 1959, the State Council approved that jiangzhang county was renamed Jiangyou county. In February 1988, the State Council approved the abolition of Jiangyou county and the establishment of Jiangyou City (county level), which is under the management of Mianyang City directly under the provincial government. In Jiangyou, Baoji Chengdu railway runs through the whole territory, Beijing Kunming expressway runs through the north and south, and Xicheng high speed railway and Chengdu Mianyang Leshan intercity passenger dedicated line meet in Jiangyou. The scenic spots related to Li Bai in Jiangyou City include longxiyuan, pink bamboo building, ink washing pool, moxingxi, etc.
In 2018, Jiangyou achieved a GDP of 42.803 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2%, of which the added value of the primary industry was 4.725 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8%; the added value of the secondary industry was 16.474 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 21.604 billion yuan, an increase of 10.3%. The ratio of three industrial structures is 11.0:38.5:50.5.

In the 25th year of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Deyang county was set up in YANMENBA.
From 265 to 274, Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty moved Hanchang county (later Zhangming county) to Qinglian town. From 307 to 313, Emperor Huai of Western Jin Dynasty set up beiyinping county and Yinping county. From 397 to 401, Emperor an of Eastern Jin Dynasty set up Xinba county and Xinba County in YANMENBA.
In 505, Jiangyou county and Jiangyou county were set up in Nanba, Pingwu County, and Longzhou was set up in Yinping county. But Jiangyou county and Zhangming county have inherited it.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Jiangyou and Zhangming counties were still established.
After 1958, it was merged into jiangzhang county and renamed Jiangyou County in May of the next year.
Jiangyou County
The name of Jiangyou County follows the "Jiang Youshu" established by the Shu Han regime in 219, the 24th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty. According to Cao Xueshuan of Ming Dynasty, the meaning of "Jiang You" means "Jiang Shui you". Because "you" and "you" are interlinked, later generations will write "Jiangyou" as "Jiangyou".
Jiangyou county and county were built in the second year of Xuanwu emperor of Northern Wei Dynasty, that is, the fourth year of Tianjian emperor of Liang Dynasty (505). Xiahoudao, the Liang Dynasty's demoted general appointed by Emperor Xuanwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty, was the general of Pingnan and the governor of Yuzhou. He led his troops to Shu and occupied 14 counties of Liangzhou. Now Jiangyou county and Jiangyou county are set up in Nanba of Pingwu County. In 508, Emperor Xuanwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty recovered the land and abolished Jiangyou county.
In the autumn of 553, the second year of the abolition of the emperor of the Western Wei Dynasty, the Western Wei Dynasty occupied Shu and restored Jiangyou County, which was subordinate to Longzhou.
In 583, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty withdrew Jiangyou County, which was subordinate to Longzhou. In 607, Longzhou was changed into Pingwu County, and Jiangyou county was subordinate to Pingwu County. In 618, Emperor Gong of the Sui Dynasty changed Pingwu County into Longmen County, and then to xilongmen county.
In the Wude period of Gaozu of Tang Dynasty (618-626), the West Longmen County of Jiangyou county was renamed as the West Longmen Prefecture. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), West Longmen Prefecture was changed into Longmen Prefecture. In 634, Emperor Taizong withdrew Pingwu County and moved to Jiangyou county. Jiangyou county was under the jurisdiction of Zhengzhou during the chuigong period (685-688). In 742, the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, Jiangyou Prefecture was changed into Jiangyou County, which was subordinate to Jiangyou county. In 757, Jiangyou county was renamed Yingling County; in 758, the first year of Qianyuan, Jiangyou county was renamed Longzhou.
In 1115, Longzhou was renamed Zhengzhou, and Jiangyou county was subordinate to Zhengzhou. In 1131, the first year of Shaoxing, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhengzhou was renamed Longzhou, and Jiangyou county was subordinate to Longzhou. In the sixth year of Baoyou (1258), Jiangyou County moved to Yongcun village with Longzhou.
In the 22nd year of the reign of emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty (1285), Longzhou, a native of Jiangyou County, was withdrawn. In 1363, Emperor Shun of the Yuan Dynasty restored Jiangyou county to Xingjiao Town, which was subordinate to Xuanwei Department of Longzhou.
Ming Taizu Hongwu decade (1377), removed Jiangyou county people Zitong county. Hongwu 13 years (1380) to Xingjiao town for the rule, the restoration of Jiangyou County, under the sword state. In 1566, Jiangyou county was transferred to longan Prefecture.

In 1915, Jiangyou county was under the jurisdiction of Xichuan road. On December 22, 1949, Jiangyou county was liberated and attached to the Jiange special zone.
In January 1950, Zhongba city was established in Zhongba town. Due to the lack of conditions for the construction of the city, it was rebuilt into the third district of Jiangyou county at the end of the month.
In May 1951, Jiangyou County moved from Wudu town to Zhongba town.
On December 30, 1952, Jiange district was renamed Guangyuan district.
On March 10, 1953, Guangyuan district was removed and Jiangyou county was transferred to Mianyang district.
On September 5, 1958, the State Council decided to abolish Jiangyou and Zhangming counties and merge them into jiangzhang County, with Zhongba town.
On April 30, 1959, the State Council approved that jiangzhang county was renamed Jiangyou county.
Construction of Zhangming County
In 265-274, Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty moved overseas Chinese to Hanchang county from baisshashu (now the north of Xiangyin County in Hunan Province) and placed them on the North Bank of Panjiang River in Qinglian town, which is subordinate to Zitong county.
In 538, Hanchang county was moved to rangshui (now Qiaoyuan temple, Beijiang village, Zhangming town).
In 553, Hanchang county changed its name to Changlong county. It was moved to mengjinli (now Zhangming town) and belonged to Jinshan County.
In the third year of emperor kaihuang (583), Jinshan County was withdrawn and Changlong county was subordinate to TongZhou; in the fifth year of emperor kaihuang (585), Tongzhou was renamed mianzhou and Changlong county was subordinate to mianzhou. In 607, mianzhou was renamed Jinshan County, and Changlong county was subordinate to Jinshan County.
In 618, Jinshan County was renamed mianzhou, and Changlong county was still subordinate to mianzhou. In 620, Changlong county was divided into Xianwu and Wenyi counties. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), Emperor Taizong withdrew Wenyi county and moved to Changlong county. In 705, Xianwu county was changed to Xingsheng county. In 712, Emperor Xuanzong changed Changlong county to Changming County for avoiding temples. In 714, Xingsheng county was removed and merged into Changming county. In 742, mianzhou was renamed Brazil County, and Changming county was subordinate to Brazil county. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (about 748), Changming county was flooded. In the first year of emperor suzong of the Tang Dynasty (758), Brazil county was renamed mianzhou, and Changming county was subordinate to mianzhou. In the first year of Jianzhong (780), Emperor Dezong of Tang Dynasty moved to Shuijiu.
In the first year of Tongguang (923) of Zhuangzong in the later Tang Dynasty, it was renamed Zhangming county because of avoiding temples and taboo, and it was moved back to mengjinli.
In song and Yuan Dynasties, it was established in Zhangming county and subordinate to mianzhou.
In 1377, Zhangming county was removed and merged into mianzhou. In 1380, Zhangming county was restored to Chengdu. In 1566, Emperor Shizong of the Ming Dynasty was transferred to longan Prefecture.
In 1659, Zhangming county was withdrawn and mianzhou was established. In 1728, Zhangming county was restored to mianzhou. Yongzheng nine years (1731) change Li Long'an house.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, Zhangming county was under Xichuan road. In 1930, Xichuan road was abolished and Zhangming county was transferred to Sichuan Province.
