Junfeng Mountain Nature Reserve
Junfengshan nature reserve is located in ziyuntai, Xiayang Township, east of Mingxi County. The total area of the reserve is 1710 hectares, including 688 hectares of core area. The main peak is 1061.7 meters above sea level. The main protected plants in the area are Taxus chinensis var. mairei, calyx sinensis, etc.
There is a Junfeng temple in the flat place between the two peaks of Junfeng mountain. The temple was built in the late Tang Dynasty, offering sacrifices to Zhang, Rao and Xiao. In the temple, Wen Tianxiang of the Southern Song Dynasty inscribed a plaque "showing the cover of purple clouds". In early 2003, Junfeng mountain in Mingxi was listed as a provincial nature reserve.
