A huge willow grows in Kashgar. According to research, it has grown for more than 1500 years, with a height of 20 meters and an area of 1.2 mu. It is said that 1500 years ago, a Pakistani businessman went to Loulan, the ancient city, to do business. He passed by here. Because of the long walking time, thirst and hunger, he wanted to have a rest and continue on his way. Unconsciously, he put his precious crutch into the field and fell asleep. When he woke up, he was surprised to find that his crutch had turned into a willow. The merchant immediately knelt down in front of the willow tree and said, "you are the only one for me. You must be a God tree to earn money! Please keep me rich in business. " Then he went away. It is said that the businessman made a fortune in Loulan.

Jinzhai willow King

Jinzhai willow king is located on the Bank of xipi River in Maoping village, Qingshan Town, Jinzhai County. Its trunk is 10 meters high and about 8 meters thick. Its trunk is huge, and most of it has become deep groove. There are four tree holes about 30 cm in diameter on the trunk, which can penetrate light from the other side. At the upper end of the trunk, the mouth of the three plants is thick, and the side trunk looks like a python, growing vigorously.

In January 1943, the Japanese invaders invaded Maoping and burned the streets of Maoping, creating an appalling "Maoping Massacre". 562 people were killed by the Japanese, and the willow king was roasted by the fire for several hours, resulting in bark necrosis. After a few years, the heart of the tree gradually withered into a groove shape, and several lateral trunks were withered and broken due to lack of nutrition, leaving holes.
