Zhangba Guilin scenic spot is located in Zhangba street, eastern suburb of Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. It is a national AAAA scenic spot and a national water conservancy scenic spot. It is 7 kilometers away from the downtown of Luzhou. It covers an area of more than 4000 mu and stretches for more than ten miles. There are more than 15000 old longan trees more than 100 years old. These old longan trees were planted at the end of the 19th century. Guilin scenic area has "three treasures": ancient trees, Yangtze river stones, peach blossom jellyfish.

Introduction to scenic spots

Zhangba Guilin Tourist Area is located in Zhangba on the West Bank of the Yangtze River in the east of Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. It is only 800 meters from Zhangba to the west gate of the park through Guojiao Yangtze River Bridge. The park covers an area of more than 4000 mu. Zhangba has a long history. When "Huguang filled Sichuan", people surnamed Zhang came to Sichuan from Xiaogan, Huangzhou, Hubei Province, and introduced the first batch of longan trees. After more than 300 years of development, they were called Zhangba. There are more than 15000 longan trees, more than 2000 lychees and more than 1000 Zhennan trees in the tourist area, known as "riverside oxygen bar, green paradise". In 1994, as an ecotourism and international tourism link scenic spot in Sichuan, the tourist area has been listed as "permanent green protection area", ecotourism and sightseeing agricultural tourism area by the provincial government. It is a comprehensive leisure resort integrating ecology, sports, health preservation and leisure. With beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural heritage, the tourist area has formed more than 40 scenic spots, such as Guishui lake, Longyin River, longying corridor, shuwangtai, Zhangjia courtyard, etc. tourists can stroll along the plank road, linger on the side of Longyin River, join with green mountains and green waters, and enjoy the magnificence of the Yangtze River.

Zhangba longan Forest Park covers an area of about 4000 mu. As the most concentrated artificial forestation of longan trees with a history of more than 100 years in the secondary suitable area of longan above the Tropic of cancer, there are still more than 15000 longan trees, more than 2000 litchi trees, more than 1000 Zhennan trees and more than 53000 other trees. It is a gene bank of Longan Germplasm in inland China. Its botanical value is similar to that of giant panda in zoology. In March 1999, it was listed in the Zhangba Guilin tourism area of Sichuan Province.

In December 1999, it was listed in the key development plan of Luzhou.

In 2000, it was listed as Sichuan permanent green reserve.

In May 2004, it was awarded the first batch of national agricultural tourism demonstration sites.

In 2007, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit (plant) in Sichuan.

In June 2014, it was rated as national AAAA tourist attraction.

Zhangba Guilin scenic spot has a very high water environment quality. The water quality is improved by measures such as sewage interception and desilting, and the water quality monitoring is better than the class III standard. History and culture

Zhangjia courtyard
