At present, there are 1242 species of vascular plants belonging to 666 genera and 181 families, among which 32 are rare and endangered; there are 50 species of mammals, 93 species of birds and 993 species of insects; Metasequoia glyptostroboides and Taxus chinensis var. mairei are first-class national protected plants; jackal, big civet, little civet, spotted fox, red bellied pheasant and white crowned pheasant are second-class national protected animals.

Main attractions

Qinglong waterfall is 34 kilometers away from Wanzhou city. It is 105 meters wide and 64.5 meters high, 19 meters wider than the famous Huangguoshu waterfall. Taibaiyan has the advantage of "Baiyan immortal trace" of the eight scenic spots in Wanzhou. It has the advantage of natural scenery and is famous for its inscriptions in ancient and modern times. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, it has been known as Wanzhou scenic spot. There are three characters of "Guande Pavilion" on the stone wall of Taibai rock. During the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, Cao Xuequan, a historian in Sichuan, came to Wanli, pointing out that Li Bai, a poet of Tang Dynasty, had studied in Xishan, so he built "Taibai Temple". There are more than 40 Moyan stone carvings in Taibaiyan. The three characters "Taibaiyan" of Moyan stone carvings in the light years of the Qing Dynasty can be seen clearly. It is listed as a Chinese scenic spot by the State Administration of cultural relics. In the scenic area, there are the memorial hall for the anti British martyrs of the "95000 County Massacre" and the memorial to the "95000 County Massacre".
