Gucheng mountain scenic spot is a provincial-level scenic spot, located in Gucheng Town, north of Wangcang County, Guangyuan City, 63 kilometers away from the county. It is composed of Gucheng mountain, QILIXIA and Bailong palace, covering an area of 100 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

According to the scientific conclusion drawn by modern geologists, the geological structure of Gucheng mountain is located in the transition zone between Yangzi platform and Qinling geosyncline. After hundreds of millions of years of orogeny, these limestone mountains have formed, forming the diversity of high mountain valleys and karst caves, presenting a variety of geological and natural landscapes.

Gucheng mountain is called "Tiangu" by local people. It is said that it will sing at the right time. There is a saying: "if the sky drum sounds, the sage will come down; if the sky drum sounds, a good year will come." It is only said that in the peasant uprising of the late Qing Dynasty, Li Zhongde in northern Sichuan organized the "red light cult", which sounded; in 1933, the red army went to Wangcang to establish the Sichuan Shaanxi Soviet government, which sounded; in 1950, Wangcang was liberated, which sounded. The two mountains have left behind the remains of the peasant uprising in the late Qing Dynasty and the fortification of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army, as well as the ballad of "red light cult": "the East drum is linked to the West drum, leading the crowd of 25000 people; going north to Hanzhong, going south to Baoning; killing all the corrupt officials, the people will not suffer." Brush away the dust, you will see the thick history and mysterious legend of Gucheng mountain.

Donggucheng mountain is 2017 meters above sea level. The top of the mountain is flat with an area of 875 mu, covered with virgin forest. All around the wall like a wall, only the southeast road can be dangerous. At the top of the mountain, there are 8 hills, which are arranged orderly, like "eight formations". According to legend, during the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Shu, attacked Wei and stationed troops here to perform "eight formations" at the top of the mountain. There are two peaks at the top, facing each other like a gate. The height is more than 3 Zhang, and the width is about 1 Zhang. According to historical records, "Lingxiao hall" and other temples were built on the top of the mountain in the Ming Dynasty, with monks offering incense, morning bells and evening drums, which can be heard from far and near. After the temple was destroyed in the war, only the cornerstone was left, and there was also a cast iron clock in the ninth year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty. The rust was mottled and the handwriting was still vaguely recognizable.

Xigucheng mountain is steep, with cliffs in the south, North and West, but there is a rugged Canyon between the cliffs in the East, with paths to climb to the top of the mountain. Xigucheng mountain is 2065 meters above sea level, covering an area of more than 700 mu. It is surrounded by bamboo, azalea, ancient trees and rich vegetation. At the top of the mountain, a temple named "Huaiyu hall" was built at the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty. There is a dangerous stone in front of the temple, which looks like a beautiful woman's head. It is pulled by fingers and seems to move. If it is shaken by force, it will stay still. People think it is a foreign body. There is a natural pool on the side of the temple. At four o'clock, the water is full and clear. The East and the West are overflowing. But I don't know where it came from. It's still amazing.

Gucheng mountain has more than 140000 mu of primeval forest and many species of precious plants and animals. It is the biological treasure house of Micang Mountain Nature Reserve. The trees on the mountain are luxuriant and luxuriant, and the mist lingers in the forest. Standing on the top of the mountain, overlooking Siyu, I really feel like "the mountain is high and I am the peak". All around the mountains meandering, potential if you long; ravines and valleys, rock peaks; mountains and clouds, clouds and fog around, near the mountains far peak, such as sea waves to the sky. Standing on the top of the mountain, I really feel like "fog comes from my feet, clouds come from my side". I feel like a fairy, and man and nature are integrated.

Management measures

Since 2016, the rice Management Bureau of Wangcang County has put the safety of Gucheng mountain QILIXIA scenic spot in the first place according to the four unified work objectives of "safety, quality, order and efficiency", and taken effective measures to create a safe and comfortable tourism environment.

First, we should pay attention to system guarantee and responsibility implementation. In order to do a good job in the safety management of the scenic spot, the rice Management Bureau of Wangcang County has set up a security team to formulate the safety management measures, the daily patrol system, the safety construction management measures and the emergency plan for the safety management of the scenic spot, so as to make the safety work of the scenic spot have rules to follow. In addition, a leading group for safety work in scenic spots has been set up, and the working method of "the head of the scenic spot takes the overall responsibility, the leaders in charge of implementation and the staff in charge of inspection" has been established, so that the safety of scenic spots can be "managed by everyone".

Second, pay attention to construction safety management. The Bureau signed the "safe and civilized construction agreement" with the construction enterprises, which not only requires the construction enterprises to achieve "protection facilities in place, management personnel in place, and appropriate management measures", and do a good job in the construction safety, construction vehicle safety, construction machinery safety and safety management of employees during the construction period, but also requires the construction enterprises to strengthen the forest fire prevention awareness education of employees, so as to prevent the fire The forest fire caused by matches, cigarette butts and other open fires caused the loss of national property.

Third, pay attention to safety management in critical period. Safety in flood season and fire prevention in winter are the key points of safety management in scenic spots. In order to strengthen responsibility and implement safety management, the Bureau has established duty system in flood season and fire prevention system in winter, established safety inspection team, strengthened monitoring of main river valleys, soft mountains, mountain torrents and debris flow, and strictly prevented natural disasters from causing harm to tourists. Set up forest fire prevention signs and billboards in main scenic spots and traffic arteries, print and distribute forest fire prevention leaflets, strengthen the fire prevention awareness of tourists and villagers, maintain and adjust monitoring facilities, and closely monitor remote areas to prevent forest fires.

Fourth, road traffic safety. In order to do a good job in road traffic safety management, we have established parking methods and parking management system in scenic spots, strengthened the management of random parking and traffic order of tourist vehicles, timely guided tourist vehicles to enter the parking lot for unified parking, set up safety signs at all traffic intersections, set speed limit signs and wide-angle mirrors at turning sections, and laid a good foundation for traffic safety in scenic spots.

Original ecological vegetation and biodiversity the reserve has a small area of 320 square kilometers of original ecological vegetation in China. There are 2597 species of vascular plants in the area, including more than 100 species of national key protected plants; there are 462 species of vertebrates such as clouded leopard and black bear, among which 44 species belong to national first and second level key protected animals. Yanqikou is located in Yuanshan village, Ganhe Township, Wangcang County. It is the only way to the county state-owned forest farm. Tadi cave is a huge cave, unfathomable, so far no one has explored the end of the cave, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone lotus, stone milk, crystal exquisite, some like Bodhisattva meditation, some like rolling dragon Baozhu, some like Erlong Xizhu, some like fairies scattered flowers, some like beautiful women dancing, a variety of, unspeakable, thousands of scenes, it is pleasing. Huagai stone is about two li away from chuanyanzi. A stone mushroom stands on the peak, which looks like Huagai, so it is called Huagai stone. The stem of the mushroom is as thick as ten people. The circumference of the mushroom plate is about 500 meters. Under the plate, hundreds of people can enjoy the cool, shelter from the rain and play. Wuxiu in North District refers to Tiefo temple, ganheba, menfanyan, dashuitan and Dayanhe waterfall.
