Kaiyuan South cave is located about 10 kilometers south of Kaiyuan city under the mountains. The South cave is a pool of three springs with flowing water all the year round. One of them can enter by boat. The cave is not only cool and pleasant, but also enjoys stalactite wonders such as stalagmites, stalagmites and pillars. This spring is the main water source for Kaiyuan residents to drink and irrigate their farmland. Outside the cave, the ancient trees are towering and the clear flow is constant. There is a smiling Buddha at the foot of a small cliff. When tourists buy chips, they will laugh. It's very interesting. There is also a rhinoceros shaped like a moon. It is said that a rhinoceros was chased into the cave by nearby villagers, and the spring water flowed out of the cave. In order not to let the rhinoceros run away, people blocked the entrance of the cave with stones, but suddenly water came out everywhere in the village, and the water stopped when the entrance was opened. The rhinoceros statue is based on this legend.
