Qingyuan Palace
Qingyuan palace is a cultural relic protection unit in Chongqing. Located in Shiyao Town, Jiangjin District, Chongqing, it was first built in the fifth year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty, then built in the 18th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, and cultivated in the first year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 500 years. It was built in memory of Li Bing, a hero of water control in the Warring States period. It covers an area of 1700 square meters. It is the most complete and largest preserved architecture of Ming and Qing Dynasties in Southwest China.
Qingyuan palace, a national AA tourist attraction, is the best preserved Qingyuan palace in Chongqing. It is mainly composed of stage, Chuanzhu hall, Lingguan hall, Yuhuang hall, Riyue Pavilion, Qingfeng Pavilion, and gardens with more than 20 hundred year old trees. Among them, a camphor tree on the right side of the main square is the same age as Qingyuan palace, which was built in the fifth year of Zhengde (1510) of the Ming Dynasty. It has been more than 500 years since now, and is known as the king of camphor in 500 years. It takes 5-6 people to embrace it.

Temples, Qingyuan palace was first built in 1510 A.D. in the fifth year of Zhengde of Ming Dynasty, and then built in 1813 A.D. in the 18th year of Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty. It was built in 1821 A.D. in the first year of Daoguang of Qing Dynasty. It has a history of nearly 500 years. Qingyuan palace covers an area of more than 8000 square meters from north to south. It is a traditional building with unique style and compound courtyard layout. The temple is surrounded by a 10 meter high wall of wind and fire. Lifting beam brick, wood and stone structure. Zoysia relief, exquisite technology, cornice angle, green brick, slate floor. In the three halls and one theater, the two sides of the theater building are symmetrical, the Wenwu Kuixing building and the male and female guest building are divided into two parts. The front and rear halls are supported by 32 large round stone pillars, which are characteristic of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Under the main entrance of Qingyuan palace is a stone platform. At the foot of the stone ladder, there are a pair of stone lions smiling to welcome guests. In front of the palace, there are 40 steps, 5.5 meters wide and 17 meters long. There are 8 Flower terraces on both sides of the ladder. The mountain gate is a stone archway with 6 reliefs of Taoist legends on it. There is a smiling stone lion and a white jade lion on both sides of the main gate, which are symmetrical. On the main gate is the Shipai building, which is engraved with the word "imperial edict". There is a prime minister on both sides, which sets off the solemn atmosphere of the palace. There are three big characters of Qingyuan palace in the horizontal calligraphy on the lower forehead, which are especially powerful and magnificent.
Qingyuan temple fair began in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 500 years. Temple fair is composed of several festivals in a year. The main body is the "Sichuan Lord's Association" sacrifice and its related cultural and recreational activities. The traditional "Chuan Zhu Hui" commemorates Li Bing's coming to Sichuan for water control. He has great merits and is worshipped by Taoists and revered as the "great Bodhisattva". Since the beginning of history, it has been an important traditional folk custom activity for people to respect, support and become a custom.
