Seven islands
Qizhou archipelago is located in the eastern sea area of Wenchang City, Hainan Province, which is composed of seven island groups. The sea area is distributed in the range of 19 degrees 52 minutes north latitude to 20 degrees north latitude and 111 degrees 11 minutes east longitude to 111 degrees 17 minutes. The fishermen in Wenchang called it "qizhouzhi", which has been one of the eight scenic spots in Wenchang since ancient times.
brief introduction
The Qizhou archipelago is 32 kilometers away from Yueliang Bay, Wenchang City, Hainan Province. The sea area where the Qizhou archipelago is located is called "qizhouyang". It is a natural fishing ground rich in marine products. There are groups of gulls, clouds and fog on it. There are mysterious sea caves and colorful underwater world. It is a fascinating sea fairy mountain. There is a rare geological wonder in the world in the Qizhou archipelago: the sea erosion tunnel. Almost every island here has one or two caves, especially the caves on shuangfan island and dengzhi Island, which penetrate the whole island and form a "tunnel" for boats.
Another remarkable feature of the seven islands is that there are birds everywhere, which can be said to be a veritable "paradise for birds". These birds do not make nests. Under the rocks near the sea, there are eggs everywhere. Some birds are hiding under the rocks to hatch eggs, some birds are dancing on the rocks! Some birds fly in the air and live a carefree life
Qizhou archipelago is located in the east of Wenchang City, Hainan Province, which is composed of seven island groups. It is distributed in the range of 19 ° 52 N-20 N and 111 ° 11-111 ° 17 E. The surface temperature of each island is about 26 ℃ in spring and 28.4-28.6 ℃ in autumn.
Qizhou archipelago is the most Eastern Island in Hainan Province. When the sky is high and the air is far away, looking northeast from the top of Tongguling peak in the east of Wenchang, you can see a few small islands floating on the vast sea, that is, the seven islands. The fishermen in Wenchang call them "seven islands".
The origin of the name
The name of the seven islands may come from the fact that it is composed of seven island groups. Wenchang Qizhou archipelago is composed of seven islands, including Nanzhi, duifan, chishi, Pingzhi, gouyunao, dengzhi and Beizhi. It rises from south to North and forms a curved line with a length of 13.2 km. It is divided into North and south parts. In the south, there are Nanzhi, Duishan and Chizhi close to each other; in the north, there are Beizhi, Pingzhi, dengzhi and gougoudan connected; the north and south parts are 6.5km apart, facing each other, forming a whole.
Among the seven islands, Beizhi island is the largest, also known as Beizhi island. According to the information provided by the Wenchang Oceanic Bureau, Beizhi is 146 meters above sea level, covering an area of 0.4 square kilometers and 32 kilometers from the land. It is the only place with fresh water in the Qizhou islands. The island is overgrown with weeds, lush shrubs and even bowl sized trees. In addition to large groups of seabirds, snakes and some reptiles like Gekko are also growing on the island. Nanzhi is the second largest island in the Qizhou archipelago, covering an area of 0.35 square kilometers. It is the closest to the land, about 23 kilometers.
The terrain of Pingzhi mountain top is flat. The rocks with longitudinal cracks extend from the mountain top to the sea bottom. There seems to have been a landslide in the middle of the mountain. It is obvious that several huge rocks have slipped into the sea bottom since then. Pingshi is also called niaozhi. Shanghai has the most birds on the island, but according to the information, Beishi is the island with the most birds. It is impossible to verify who is right and who is wrong. We only know that there are too many seabirds on the two islands to count. Although the name is not elegant, it is very vivid. Dengzhi from west to East, the mountain slightly raised, such as a ship moored at sea, a surge of wind. Looking from one side to the other, the sunlight on the opposite side passes through the hole, just like lighting an oil lamp, hence the name dengzhi.
geographical position
summary
The Qizhou archipelago consists of seven islands, namely Nanzhi, shuangfan, chishi, gouyingmao, dengzhi, Beizhi and Pingzhi. The seven peaks rise from south to North and form a curvilinear arrangement. The length of the row is 13.2 km, which is divided into two parts: North and south. In the south, there are Nanzhi, shuangfan and Chizhi. The three islands are close to each other. In the north, there are Beizhi, Pingzhi, dengzhi and gououshi. The north and south parts are 6.5 kilometers apart, facing each other. It is about 30 km to the north and 21 km to the south.
south
There are three islands (Nanzhi Island, shuangfan island and chishi). Nanzhi island in the middle is the closest to the land, about 23 kilometers. Hundreds of meters east of Nanzhi, two hills protrude out of the sea side by side. Their shape is like two small sails agitated by the wind, so they are named shuangfan island. About 1000 meters west of Nanzhi, there is a small Linglong island The island is only 49.9 meters above sea level. The whole island looks like a big rock and is red, so it is named Chizhi.
north
The four islands are about 7 km away from the southern islands, of which Pingzhi is the southernmost and Beizhi is the northernmost, with gougoutuo and dengzhi sandwiched between them. The terrain of Pingzhi mountain top is flat, with longitudinal cracks extending from the mountain top to the bottom of the sea. The dog's egg is close to the north end of Pingzhi, although its name is not elegant, it is very vivid. Dengzhi rises slightly from west to East, just like a huge ship moored on the sea Looking from one side to the other, the sunlight on the opposite side passes through the hole, which is like lighting an oil lamp, hence the name dengzhi.
Beizhi takes the lead among the seven islands: it is the farthest from land, the largest in area, and the only island with fresh water.
natural landscape
Seven islands
Qizhou archipelago is one of the eight scenic spots in Wenchang City, which is located in the northeast corner of Hainan Island. The fishermen of Wenchang City are called "qizhouzhi" and have been listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Wenchang since ancient times.
The beaches of Hemen and Baiping at the junction of Wengtian town and Longma township are only more than ten nautical miles away from the Qizhou archipelago. When it's sunny, you can enjoy the three sceneries of the Qizhou archipelago from the beach or shore hillock.
Shuangfan island at the south end is composed of two tall rocks, separated by a seaway. It is surrounded by brown stone walls, high and steep. The top of the wall is covered with green grass and short cold resistant plants. From a distance, it looks like a boat with two sails, sailing on the vast sea, so it is called shuangfan island. It is said that among the seven continents, shuangfan island is the most difficult to climb.
Near the double sail is Nanshi, also known as Nanshi, which is the closest to the land, about 23 kilometers. Nanzhi covers an area of about 0.35 square kilometers. It is composed of six undulating peaks with little vegetation on the peak. There is a broad slope in the West. From a distance, the island shows the peculiar pale brown color after weathering of rocks. On the east side of the north, there are two stone rafts inserted obliquely to the South Island, forming a calm area, which is a good place for fishing boats to rest.
About several thousand meters to the west of Nanzhi, there is a small and exquisite island called chishi, also known as chishi. It is actually a brown rock. It is the shortest. The altitude is only 49.9 meters, less than one third of that of Beizhi. There is a hole at the east foot of chishi. There is a small stone looking up at it. It is only covered with a small piece of green gauze at the top, and its whole body is naked. The rocks around it are full of reddish brown luster, so it is called chishi.
In the northern part of the Qizhou archipelago, there is a long strip of Ping Shi, also known as Ping Shi. The top of the mountain is flat. Looking from the east to the west, the ridge is relatively straight. There is a crack in the middle of the ridge, but it does not affect the straightness of the back, so it is called Pingzhi. There seems to have been a landslide in the middle of the mountain. It is obvious that several huge rocks have slipped into the sea floor since then. Fishermen said that Pingzhi is also known as niaozhi, with the largest number of birds on the island. However, according to the information, Beishi is the island with the largest number of birds. It is impossible to verify who is right and who is wrong. We only know that there are countless seabirds on the two islands.
The island is close to the north end of Pingzhi. The shape of the island is similar to that of the dog's egg, so the fishermen give it some interesting names. Although the name is not elegant, it is very vivid, and it sounds very pleasant.
Dengshi is also called Dengshi. From west to East, the mountain rises slightly, like a huge ship moored on the sea. There is a hole in the south, which passes through the middle of the island and can pass through the boat. When you look from one side to the other, the sunlight on the opposite side passes through the hole, just like lighting an oil lamp, so dengzhi gets its name. There are caves in shuangfan and chishi, but they are not as strange as dengzhi. It's incomparable fun to take a boat here.
Beizhi, also known as Beishi, is the most magnificent of the seven islands. It is said to be the only island with fresh water. It is the farthest from the land, the highest altitude (146 meters) and the largest area (0.4 square kilometers). Qizhou archipelago is far away from the mainland, facing thousands of hectares of smoke and waves in the morning and listening to seabirds playing in the evening. For tens of thousands of years, it is very difficult for people to get close to it by sailing with their hands. Therefore, the ancients once sighed: "if you want to get into the fishing boat, you need to find Xianyin and Heyu." It not only expresses the people's infinite yearning for the overseas fairy mountains at that time, but also expresses the infinite regret that it is difficult to cross by boat.
The northeast side of the island is a calm bay, which can anchor 20 or 30 fishing boats. The sea water is beating gently at the foot of the island, making a sound of even rhythm. On the slope, a path extending from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain is indistinctly visible. This is a mountain path for fishermen to climb mountains and watch fish groups, distant boats or cut salaries. At the foot of the mountain, there is a pile of stones rolling down from the mountain. They are of different shapes, just like those made by skilled craftsmen. There is fresh water at the foot of the mountain, which is the only fresh water in the islands. The island mountain is overgrown with weeds and lush shrubs. Some trees are as big as bowls. The island is inhabited by large groups of seabirds, some snakes and a reptile similar to gecko. Seabirds build nests in the sea
