Lacquer paintings on display
The exhibition of lacquer paintings in the collection of Fujian Museum of art, jointly sponsored by Fujian Museum of art and Shenzhen Museum of art, opened in Shenzhen Museum of art. Lacquer painting is a kind of "young" painting that inherits the ancient culture. It takes lacquer as the basic material. The painting process includes both traditional Chinese decoration technology and foreign techniques, conveying a modern painting concept. Compared with other kinds of painting, lacquer painting is more inclusive, and different kinds have different characteristics: "tracing" has the beauty of technology, "painting" has the beauty of heavy color, "carving" has the beauty of print, "stacking" has the beauty of relief, "scraping" has the beauty of oil painting, "splashing" has the beauty of watercolor. The characteristic materials of painting, such as lacquer liquid, pigment, metal powder, mother of pearl, eggshell and so on, are processed by the special techniques of inlaying, drawing, scattering, covering, grinding and so on. Lacquer painting has mysterious oriental color and rich texture. The artistic conception of the picture is complicated and fascinating, like a poem. It will produce different effects under different light, different angles and different distances. The painter's overall decoration and detail treatment of the picture are also thought-provoking. Fujian has the reputation of "the leader in the development of modern Chinese lacquer painting". Liang Ruchu, Wang Heju, Wu Chuan, Zheng Liwei and other contemporary painters in Fujian constantly explore and develop the art of lacquer painting, which makes Fujian lacquer painting gradually develop and form its own characteristics in the development. Today, Fujian has a group of high-level lacquer painters. Fujian's lacquer paintings have won gold, silver, copper and other outstanding awards in national art exhibitions for many times, and often go to Japan, South Korea and other places for exchange and exhibition as international cultural exchange projects. At the invitation of Shenzhen Art Museum, Fujian Provincial Art Museum specially brought its collection of lacquer paintings to Shenzhen for exhibition, providing a good opportunity for Shenzhen citizens to get a close understanding of lacquer painting and its art, and adding colorful colors to the new year of Shenzhen.
