There is Dinghui temple in the lane, so it is named. Lu Xiong's "Suzhou Fu Zhi" and other works were all written as Wang Ping Si Xiang. The first volume of the book "Wu men Biao Yin" says: "the twin towers were built by Wenhan, the king of song Yongxi, who gave up 580 mu of land. Today, Wenhan is worshipped as the God of Jialan, and there are three brothers. Its tomb is in the east corner of the temple. Its home is very high and people dare not get close to it. Its real name is wangdingsi lane. " In addition to the relevant items in Volume I of Wumen biaoyin, Wu county annals of the Republic of China also notes: "wangpansi lane is Shouning Temple Lane, which is also in front of Shuangta temple and is now named Dinghui Temple Lane. In Tongzhi's annals, Wang Fansi lane was recorded, but it was not recorded in Shouning Temple Lane. Kangxi "Zhi": Shouning Temple Lane, now in front of Shuangta temple, that's it. " Huisi lane was marked in the painting of Suzhou city. In the old days, the lane was also used in front of Shouning Temple Lane and Shuangta temple, because there were Shuangta temple and Dinghui temple in the lane. There are two temples in Pingjiang. On the right (East) is the long live courtyard (drawing double towers behind the temple), and on the left (West) is Dinghui temple. After visiting Suzhou, Professor Liu Dun frame, a modern scholar, wrote a survey of historical sites in Suzhou, a survey of Shuangta temple. Note: the Gongyuan built in the Qing Dynasty is located between Shuangta temple and Dinghui temple, covering an area of about six mu. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the imperial examination was abolished, and the Gongyuan was abandoned. Later, folk houses were built on it. However, the Gongyuan was still marked as a Gongyuan in the painting of Suzhou City, and the left and right sides were still marked by temples.
