This paper discusses the meaning of "the sun and the moon are beautiful in the sky" in the book of changes. It symbolizes the close unity and peace among all nationalities in our motherland.
Li zhengmen
Li's main gate is not only the main gate of the summer resort, but also the main gate of the palace. It was built in 1754. It is a heavy platform gate with three rectangular arch entrances and three city pavilions built on the platform. There is a pair of stone lions in front of the gate. There is a stele of horse standing on the left and right, and a red wall of 30 meters long is built in front of the gate. With strict layout and simple and beautiful style, it is the first of the 36 scenic spots of Qianlong in the summer resort.
The origin of the name
Lizheng, from the book of changes: "the sun and the moon are beautiful in the sky", which means the door is aboveboard. Because the feudal emperors of our country all claimed to be the son of heaven, they named the main gate as the Li main gate. In the history of our country, the main gate of Beijing Imperial City in Yuan Dynasty was once called Li main gate, and it was renamed Zhengyang gate in Ming Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty named the main entrance of the summer resort and the main palace Lizhengmen, which indicated that it was as important a place for political activities as the imperial city. In front of the Lizheng gate and above the central entrance, there is a stone plaque of "Lizheng gate" inscribed by Qianlong in Han, Manchu, Mongolian, Uighur and Tibetan characters, which is the symbol of China's unified multi-ethnic country. A poem written by Emperor Qianlong in the 19th year of Qianlong is engraved on the forehead to the north of Zhongmen
The rock city is full of neon and golden soup, and the door is opened to the afternoon sun. The new title of the two words is Li Zheng, and Che Shu Heng is here.
Scenery
In front of the gate, there is a royal road square, paved with bluestones, and the square is set with a red screen wall in the south, bordering the market. The East and west of the square are set up with a stone stele. In front of the gate are two piling rooms and a pair of stone lions. The main entrance of Jinli is the main palace along the central axis northbound, followed by Meridian Gate, main palace gate, Danbo Jingcheng hall, Sizhi library, Wansui photo room, gate hall, Yanbo Zhishuang hall, Yunshan resort building and Xiuyun gate.

According to research, during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403-1424), Persian (today's Iran) envoys paid homage to Beijing and worshipped pomegranates. Zhu Di, the founder of Ming Dynasty, was very fond of this kind of fruit with full grains and sweet and sour taste. It made people store the seeds of pomegranate well for planting in the coming year. But the messenger told the Emperor Yongle that pomegranate could not bear fruit by planting its seeds, but by cutting its branches from the robust mother plant to breed. The next year, Persian envoys specially sent people to Beijing to teach pomegranate cultivation techniques, and brought dozens of cultivated pomegranate seedlings. The imperial court set up a royal orchard about 20 miles outside the Lizhengmen (later renamed Zhengyangmen) to plant pomegranates for the royal family, making it the earliest pomegranate garden in Beijing. Every autumn, the red pomegranate will be sent to the palace. More than 100 years later, a settlement was formed near pomegranate garden, which is called "pomegranate village". During the reign of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty, pomegranate garden was abandoned, but the name of pomegranate village was still used.
