Pubujue Temple
Pubujue temple, located in Lhasa City, is located in the north of Lhasa city and the northeast of sera temple. It is said that the diamond PEG (or three edged diamond pestle) of dacha (a man from the 12th century) came to Tibet and landed on this hill. Later, it was called "pupupujue". "Pu bu" is the diamond peg, and "Jue" is the corner, which is the corner of the hill. Buddhists cherish this mysterious treasure and offer it to the sera temple. People are allowed to visit this sacred Vajra peg, named PuJie, on December 27 of the Tibetan calendar every year. It has become a religious festival.
brief introduction
Pupupujue temple was built by Awang jiangba in 1744 with the support of polonai (1689-1747). A Wang jiangba (1682-1762) was a poor monk. He studied hard and practiced hard. Later, he became a famous monk. Of course, his fame was also due to the fact that there were some high-ranking people around him at that time: his guru gelegacuo was the Sixth Dalai Lama Cangyangjiacuo (1683-1706); his disciple yexiejianzan was the seventh Dalai Lama sangjiacuo (1807-1757), so his status naturally increased. In particular, the seventh Dalai Lama's Sutra master, awan Jordan, and his common worship is the door of tangsaba ojujiacuo, which belongs to the wensa system inherited by the Gelug Sect. So in 1744, polonai became his benefactor to help build pupupujue temple, and he was the abbot of the Dharma seat.
Legalism
After the death of Awang, his reincarnated living Buddha inherited the throne of Dharma. The third Panchen Lama Bai Dan Ye Xie was also his disciple and wrote the biography of the living Buddha Pu Bujue Awang descending to ba for him. In 1808 (the 13th year of Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty), Tibetan monks and Customs jointly asked the Qing Dynasty for "the ninth generation of Dala Lama to be exempted from drawing lots from the Golden Vase". The memorial contains the name of tuketu in Hohhot, which is said to be his reincarnated second living Buddha (born in March 1763). At this time, phukjue temple had the title of Hutuktu, and ranked after the four Regent Living Buddhas. Hutuktu is also called Hutuktu in Qing Dynasty documents. Mongolian, Italian, means reincarnation of living Buddha, sage, longevity, etc. It used to be the name of the great living Buddha of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolian areas. Later, the Qing government awarded it as the highest ranking living Buddha of Tibetan Buddhism in Tibet, Mongolia and other areas, ranking second only to Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama. Jiang Ba Jia CuO (1860-1875), the later generation of Luo Sang Chu Minister of jiangba Hutuktu, served as the Confucian master of the 12th Dalai Lama Chenglie Jia CuO (1856-1875). At that time, Dalai was still young. He and qinrao Wangqiu assisted Dalai together. Qinrao acted as the agent of government affairs. He was in charge of the Dalai Lama's study of classics. He also served as the Confucian master and preceptor of the 13th Dalai Lama Tudeng Jia CuO (1876-1933). Therefore, although pubujue temple is very small, the political status of living Buddha is very high.
