Baojingwan, including ruins and cliff stone carvings, is a sand dune and Hill site. From 1997 to 2000, a trial excavation and three excavations were carried out successively, and a large number of pottery, stone tools, jade, crystal and other relics and residential relics from the late Neolithic period to the Shang and Zhou dynasties were unearthed. There are some internal relations between the contents of the pictures and the relics, such as the similarity between the ceramic patterns and the lines of the rock paintings. These cliff stone carvings are three "treasure cave", one "Daping stone" and one "taiyangshi". Cliff stone carvings should be the product of the late Neolithic Age to the bronze age, which is the life portrayal or totem worship of the ancient people of South Vietnam.

Site features
A Hill site from the late Neolithic Age to the early Bronze Age was discovered in Baojingwan, and then 4 rock paintings from the bronze age were discovered. The rock paintings are carved on the granite surface with shade patterns. The patterns and symbols are abstract, the lines are rough, and the composition is clumsy, reflecting the navigation activities and seaside life of the ancients. The first one is on the east wall of the "treasure cave", 5 meters across and 2.9 meters high. It is carved with boat shape, figure, snake, bird, deer, cloud pattern, thunder pattern, wave pattern, etc. it is composed of more than 10 groups of patterns. The second is on the west wall of the "treasure cave", 4.5 meters across and 1.5 meters high. Due to weathering and erosion, the lines are mottled and the figure is difficult to distinguish. The third is at the entrance of the "treasure cave", 0.6m in width and 0.35m in height, with a crown shaped pattern. The fourth one is in "Daping stone", 5 meters across and 3.3 meters high. It is carved with more than 20 human and animal shapes running and jumping around a boat. In the fifth picture, two human figures, one boat shape and three symbols are chiseled on the surface of the "genius stone", about 30 square meters. The sixth one is in "Baojing stone", which is a triangular slope with a bottom length of 2.7 meters and a height of 1.1 meters. On the right side, a circle with a diameter of 0.4 meters is carved. Inside the circle, a half moon and two dots are carved. On the left side, lines like waves and floating clouds are carved.
Gaolan Island rock art is located in kongjing Bay, southwest of Gaolan island. There are 6 rock paintings in 4 places, including "genius stone", "Baojing stone", "Daping stone" and "zangbao cave". These rock paintings were discovered in October 1989 from the late Neolithic to the bronze age. Among them, "treasure cave" is the most abundant. The largest rock painting is 5 meters long and 3 meters high. The whole painting is centered on the shape of a boat, surrounded by dancing figures, wavy patterns, snake patterns and house patterns. Research value
The earliest recorded activities of Zhuhai people started from the Jin Dynasty, and only a few words. In the past, China's marine culture was not paid attention to, and some foreign scholars even thought that China had no marine culture. Now these sand dune sites and Baojingwan sites represent China's marine culture, which shows that there was a marine civilization in Guangdong during the Neolithic period
.
These sites silently show people the production and cultural life of Zhuhai people in the late Neolithic period
