Gao'an Museum

Gao'an museum was originally located at the intersection of Junquan road in Gao'an City, covering an area of about 1300 square meters. His predecessor was Gao'an Revolutionary History Museum, which was founded in 1974. It was officially named Gao'an County Museum in October 1980 and renamed Gao'an City Museum on December 8, 1993. The old building of Gao'an museum is of brick concrete structure. For a long time, due to the poor facilities (identified as Cu level dangerous building by the construction quality supervision department in 2002), the cultural relics of the upper level can not be displayed online. As a result, the fine porcelain such as blue and white and underglaze red found in the Yuan Dynasty hoard in Gao'an on November 29, 1980 can not meet the audience at home and abroad. In order to ensure the safety of the "national treasure" cultural relics, the museum has to hide them in the basement all the time. In order to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of domestic visitors and the desire of foreign visitors to witness the "national treasure", the Gao'an municipal Party committee and government decided in 2010 to build a new museum matching the cultural relics in Gao'an. On December 27, 2012, Jiangxi Provincial Department of culture (GAN Wen Bo Zi No. 67) approved the establishment of "Gao'an yuan blue and white Museum" on the basis of the original Gao'an Museum, which will work together with Gao'an Museum for exhibition. The new Gao'an museum was officially opened on July 25, 2015.

Gao'an Museum and Gao'an yuan blue and white museum are located at 674 Ruiyang Avenue, Gao'an city. It is a museum with the characteristics of historical and cultural symbols of the Yuan Dynasty. There are more than 10000 pieces of cultural relics in the collection, especially the Gao'an Yuan Dynasty hoard cultural relics discovered in 1980, which made a sensation at home and abroad. A total of 239 pieces of porcelain were unearthed from the hoard, including artifacts from four kilns of Yuan Dynasty, namely Jingdezhen kiln, Longquan kiln, Jun kiln and Cizhou kiln. Among them, the blue and white porcelain and underglaze red porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty are rare. The utensils are complete, large in shape, complete in variety, beautiful in shape and exquisite in workmanship. The number of blue and white porcelains in the collection of Yuan Dynasty ranked the third in the world and the first in China; the number of red glazed porcelains in the collection of Yuan Dynasty ranked the first in the world. Fine cultural relics have been exhibited in Japan, France, the United States, Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions.

Gao'an Museum and gao'anyuan blue and white museum are integrated into one office display. The exhibition hall is composed of the preface hall, the historical civilization hall, the historical humanities hall, the temporary exhibition hall, the multimedia hall on the first floor, and the yuan blue and white hall 1 (national treasure hall) and the yuan blue and white hall 2 (yuan blue and white appreciation Hall) on the second floor. The exhibition adopts the first-class facilities and equipment in China. At the same time, it displays the historical and cultural details of the collection as much as possible by means of plates, characters, cabinets and advanced three-dimensional projection.

The museum was awarded the title of "national key Museum" by the State Administration of cultural relics in 2006, "national three-level Museum" in May 2009, "Jiangxi youth patriotism education base" by Jiangxi provincial Party committee and government in 2010, "Jiangxi Social Science Popularization and publicity base" by Jiangxi Federation of social science circles in 2014, "Jiangxi social science knowledge popularization and publicity base" by Jiangxi Provincial Tourism Development Committee in 2015 It is rated as "national AAA tourist attraction".

Gao'an Museum and Gao'an yuan blue and white museum work together, with 60 staff. Among them, there are 17 on-the-job professionals and 10 employed professionals, who are mainly responsible for the research, protection, exhibition, publicity, tourist reception, explanation and management of Museum Cultural Relics. In addition, there are 33 full-time security personnel in the security company, who are responsible for the security of cultural relics, free reception and facility maintenance. The hall of historical civilization mainly displays the historical civilization and ancient relics of Gao'an from the Paleolithic age to the yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, with rich contents and vivid forms. The main display means are plates, words, objects, cabinets, sculptures, sound and photoelectric, etc.

The history and humanities hall mainly displays Gao'an's history, humanities, opera, folk customs and other traditional culture since ancient times, with rich content and vivid forms of expression. 4. The collection of the first Hall of blue and white in Yuan Dynasty accurately reproduces the whole process of the discovery and research of the Yuan Dynasty hoard in Gao'an by means of plates, characters, cabinets, scenes, sound and light. This paper deeply reveals its historical and cultural connotation, and uses the recent research results to restore the owner of the hoard and the use of hoard utensils as far as possible, so as to uncover its mysterious veil.
