Faxiangyan, also known as Baosheng mountain and Zisheng mountain, is located in faxiangyan street of Wugang City. There are eight caves, each of which is engraved with the name of Lishu cave, which is square, dignified and elegant. They are: Qizhen, Shangping, Taibao, Chaoyang, Yingyang, Furong, Yinxian, huaru.

There are more than 40 kinds of cliff stone carvings at each cave entrance, among which the most famous one is the Jingang Sutra written by Wu Zhong, the prefectural herdsman in the third year of Kaixi of Song Dynasty (1207). It has more than 40 characters in verse, with Li in the seal script. It has a unique style of calligraphy. The rest of the song, Ming and Qing Dynasty officials and scholars still have a lot of handwritings. Among the eight caves of the facies rock, except huaru cave, the other seven are connected. The grotesque rocks and stalagmite stalagmites in the cave are in various shapes, including zhanhualou, Pearl Tower, stone horse love trough, stone seeking turtle, five snakes out of the cave, jade lady dressing platform, qingtianyizhu, rock waterfall and other waterfall attractions.

History and culture

The scenery of FA Xiangyan is unique. The scholars of past dynasties paid tribute to FA Xiangyan and left numerous inscriptions on the stone wall. " On the stone wall beside Furong cave, there is an inscription on the state screen in the third year of Kaixi (1270 A.D.) of the Song Dynasty. Wu Zhong wrote: "if you see me with color and ask me with sound, it's an evil way for people. You can't see the Tathagata. All the dharmas are like dreams and bubbles, like dew and like electricity. You should do so." The script is full of seal characters, vigorous and vigorous. After a hundred years of wind and rain, the strokes are still clear. The stone carving of "biyuzan" was written by Lou yaosuo, a famous calligrapher and academician of the Song Dynasty. It was carved on the stone by Jiang Tongming, a prefect of the Song Dynasty. It was written in regular script. Such a large number of cliff carvings are not only the treasures of calligraphy, but also of great historical value for appreciation and research. They are a world-famous treasure house of culture and art. At the beginning of the 1960s, famous modern historian LV Zhenyu praised the cliff inscriptions of FA Xiangyan and praised them as a masterpiece of the ancient forest of steles

The FA Xiangyan cave is composed of eight natural caves. The cliff walls of each cave are engraved with the names of Lishu cave, which are dignified, upright and skillful. They are Qizhen, Taibao, Shangping, Chaoyang, Yingyang, Furong, Wenshan and huaru. " In front of the rock, there are two streams flowing into the rock from Furong and Yingyang caves, respectively. What's more strange is that the winding path leads to seclusion, and the cave connects with tongbaoyan, which is ten miles away. Zhang yuanbian, the right Minister of the Ministry of history of the Ming Dynasty, came to Wugang to visit faxiangyan and tongbaoyan. Five kilometers from the north to the south of tongbaoshan, the lower spring of the faxiangyan is subterranean and indistinctly connected with the Nanshui river. Tourism and cultural relics

As early as 1959, FA Xiangyan was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit. In 1992, it was included in the Chinese and English versions of China tourism information database by the National Tourism Administration, enjoying a good reputation at home and abroad.
