Liaoning Forestry Vocational and Technical College

Liaoning Forestry Vocational and technical college is a public full-time ordinary university, formerly known as Liaoning forestry school, founded in 1951. In 2003, with the approval of Liaoning Provincial People's government, it became an independent higher vocational and technical college. The school is located in Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, covering an area of 480000 square meters.

The university is a model higher vocational college in Liaoning Province. It is one of the first batch of 100 modern apprenticeship pilot units in China. It has been rated as "top 50 universities with typical employment experience of graduates in China" by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, and "Liaoning University Entrepreneurship education model school" by the Provincial Department of education. As the chairman unit of China (North) Modern Forestry Vocational Education Group and the director unit of the national cultural education and Ecological Civilization Construction Committee, the school has a solid foundation with a total assets of 800 million yuan. There are 3 national key training bases, 1 national forestry key training base, 9 Liaoning key training bases, 78 on campus training bases and various professional laboratories and specimen rooms, among which biotechnology (Horticulture) training base, furniture design and manufacturing base are national construction projects, and 132 off campus training bases.
