Jiyuan vocational and Technical College

Jiyuan vocational and technical college is a public college approved by the Ministry of education. It is located in Jiyuan City, Henan Province, one of the Central Plains urban agglomeration. The college covers an area of 767 mu, with more than 12000 full-time students. There are 616 teaching staff, 468 full-time teachers, 106 part-time teachers, 6 academic leaders in Henan Province, more than 130 professors and associate professors, more than 140 teachers with master's degree or above, and more than 150 teachers with double quality.

The college has 11 teaching departments and 27 higher vocational majors, including 3 pilot majors in Henan Province and 3 pilot majors in Henan Province.

The college has eight experimental training centers, including mechanical and electronic, computer science, business and tourism, metallurgy and chemical industry, modern education and information; it has a national training base -- electrical, electronic and automation technology training base, a demonstration training base in Henan Province -- Applied Chemical Technology Training Center and more than 70 standard experimental training rooms; it has built 20000 square meters of modern books The library has a collection of more than 540000 books.

In terms of scientific research, teachers and students set up scientific and technological enterprises to realize the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. In recent years, there are 1 Special Award for teaching achievements of Henan Province, 3 awards for scientific and technological progress of Henan Province, 124 national and provincial projects, more than 1000 scientific research papers published, and 218 teaching materials mainly participated in the compilation. Among them, modern enterprise culture and professional ethics, the 11th Five year plan teaching material of ordinary colleges and universities edited by President Su Wanyi, was rated as the national excellent teaching material in 2008. The "climbing robot" and "station assistant station master assistant system" developed by our students won many honors in the fifth "Challenge Cup" of Henan Province.

The college has set up a funding system for needy students in the form of "award, diligence, assistance, loan and subsidy", with three-level grants from the state, provincial government and the college. The maximum amount of grants can reach 8000 yuan per year, and the proportion of subsidized students accounts for 50% of the number of students on campus. In addition, we have opened a green channel for poor students to enter the school. Poor students can enter the school barrier free with three-level certificates of village, township and county.

In terms of students' employment, the college implements the training mode of "order", "combination of work and study, part-time work and part-time study". It has jointly run schools with Huaneng Qinbei Power Plant, Henan Yuguang Gold lead group, Henan Jiyuan Iron and steel company, Henan University nano materials engineering technology center and other enterprises, implements "order" training, cooperates with Henan Xinfei group, Henan Lida photoelectric Co., Ltd., Henan Fengshen wheel, etc More than 200 large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises have signed long-term employment agreements. It has opened up a green channel for employment, and the employment rate of graduates has exceeded 95% for many years, ranking in the forefront of colleges and universities in Henan Province.
