Dingxi teachers college is located at No.4 Dinglin Road, Dingxi City. It is an ordinary college approved by the Ministry of education. In 29 years since its establishment, the school has a campus area of 358 mu, a green area of 450 mu, a building area of 116800 square meters, fixed assets of more than 100 million yuan, including teaching equipment worth more than 14.3 million yuan, and a library collection of more than 280000 books. At present, there are 222 teaching staff and 196 full-time teachers, including 53 teachers with senior titles, accounting for 27.04%. There are 31 graduate teachers. 8 foreign teachers and 10 part-time teachers have been employed. In the past three years, teachers have published more than 800 academic papers, compiled or participated in the compilation of 48 teaching materials and Monographs in journals above prefecture level. One of them won the first prize of excellent achievements in Social Sciences of Gansu Province in 2002, one of them won the teaching achievement award of Gansu Province; 12 kinds of teaching software have been developed; three teachers won the Education Fund Award of Zeng Xianzi, and 14 teachers won the title of excellent teachers at provincial and municipal level. At present, the school has 10 teaching departments, with 14 normal college majors and 17 General College (Higher Vocational) majors. At present, there are more than 3800 students in general higher education. The school has biology, chemistry, physics, geography, accounting simulation laboratory. There are 8 computer rooms, 1 interface technology laboratory, 18 sets of multimedia projection teaching system, 3 sets of voice teaching system and 2 sets of modern remote two-way network education system (Dingxi two-way network teaching station of Tsinghua University and Dingxi two-way network teaching station of Network Education College of Lanzhou University). It has applied to set up Gansu correspondence teaching station of Tianjin Normal University, Dingxi teaching station of Network Education College of Lanzhou University, Dingxi teaching station of Northwest Normal University and Gansu Agricultural University, Dingxi teaching station of modern distance education of Tsinghua University, and jointly set up undergraduate and specialized courses with colleges and universities inside and outside the province. Gansu provincial township enterprise cadre training department, National Computer Rank Examination Center, National English rank examination center, Sino German cooperation Tongji University Vocational Teacher Training Project Gansu base, Dingxi national vocational skill appraisal institute and Dingxi continuing education base have been set up to carry out various social services and train more than 10000 college graduates for Dingxi and its surrounding areas In recent three years, the employment rate of primary and secondary school teachers and practical talents of local economic construction is more than 85%, which has achieved good school running effect and reputation.
