Anhui Health Vocational College

Anhui population vocational college is a public college at the junior college level approved by the provincial people's government and approved by the Ministry of education. It is subordinate to Anhui population and Family Planning Commission and is under the guidance of Anhui Provincial Department of education. It is the first population Higher Vocational College in China.

Anhui population vocational college is a public school with a history of more than 80 years. Its predecessor is huairang senior nursing school attached to Wuhu gejishan hospital, which was founded in 1926. In 1969, the school moved to Chizhou and changed its name to Chizhou health school. In 1987, it was renamed Anhui family planning school, which is subordinate to Anhui family planning commission. In March 2012, Anhui population vocational college was established with the approval of the provincial people's government and approved by the Ministry of education.

The college is located in Chizhou Education Park, Anhui Province, with beautiful scenery. The first phase of the college covers an area of 300 mu, with a total area of 68800 square meters, including 46600 square meters for teaching and administration. There are 12 multimedia classrooms that can accommodate 216 students, 60 ordinary classrooms, 73 laboratories of various types, 3 standard computer rooms, 2 modern voice rooms and 1 150 seat electronic reading room; there are training bases for basic and clinical disciplines in the school, and 60 practice bases inside and outside the province, providing good practice and training places for students. There are 3998 square meters of indoor stadium and 400 meters of plastic track standard stadium. The library has a collection room, a lending room, a reading room and an electronic reading room, with more than 91000 paper books and 410000 electronic books. The library integrated management system is installed. The retrieval, borrowing and circulation of books are all managed by computer, which provides a good learning environment for teachers and students.

At present, there are 107 full-time teachers in the college, including 22 with graduate degrees, 41 in graduate school, and 44 with deputy senior titles, accounting for 41%. In addition, there are 26 university professors and associate professors. To ensure that each major has more than one expert professor as the subject leader, and the Faculty of professors, lecturers and teaching assistants are reasonably equipped. In recent years, teachers have published 152 teaching and research papers. In 2006, 15 teachers participated in the compilation of five-year higher vocational nursing planning textbooks in Anhui Province, among which 6 were the chief editor and deputy chief editor. In 2008, 10 teachers participated in the compilation of innovative teaching materials for nursing specialty in national health vocational schools, of which 4 were the chief editor and deputy chief editor. In 2010, one person served as the vice chairman of the editorial committee, three as the members, eight as the editor in chief and deputy editor in chief, and 22 as the editorial board members.
