Perennial twining herbs, high speed 1-2 meters. Stem slender, surface grayish purple, glabrous. Leaf blade halberd or triangular heart-shaped, 3-5.5 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, apex acuminate, base heart-shaped, entire, dark green above, thinly covered with short bristles, 2-4 brown short glandular hairs at the base of main veins, light green below, with fine bristles on veins. Umbel axillary; flowers small, yellowish green, calyx nearly 5-lobed, lobes ovate, reflexed downward; corolla 5-deeply lobed, lobes lanceolate, reflexed downward; corolla 5, connected with stamen at base, spreading lanceolate, and higher than stigma; stamen 5, connected with filaments as tube, surrounding pistil, anthers attached around stigma; pistil 1, composed of 2 separate carpels, flowers Column 2, apically united into a thick discoid 5-lobed stigma.
