Bamboo bee

[animal morphology] bamboo bee
Body shape obtuse round hypertrophy, about 2.5 cm long. Body black, dense soft black hair. One pair of compound eyes. Antennae slightly curved. The back of the chest is densely yellow. The wings are purplish blue, the color of the base is deep, the tip of the wings is light, and the whole wing is golden. Three pairs of feet, black and short.
They often nest in the stems of bamboo and wood, and mix saliva with bamboo and sawdust to make a partition. The nests were divided into several compartments, each compartment was used to store the mixture of pollen and honey, and lay eggs in it.
