[plant morphology] six eared bell
Perennial herbs. Stem erect, much branched, 0.8-1.5 m high, pilose. Leaf blade ovate or obovate, 8-14 cm long, sometimes harp shaped, apex acuminate, base extended long stalks, margin coarsely toothed, both sides pubescent. The inflorescences are numerous, ovoid, 6-7mm long and 5-12mm wide, slightly drooping, loosely clustered and racemose, arranged on the branches, forming a panicle of broad pointed tower shape, 15-30cm long; the involucre is green and purple, pilose; the receptacle is short hairy; the flowers are yellow, all tubular flowers, female flowers in the periphery and bisexual flowers in the middle. Achenes small, terete, slightly short hairy, 10 angled, corolla white. Or light brown. The flowering period is from late spring to autumn.
It grows in wet and shady places of gardens or on open grassland. It is distributed in Southwest China, Guangdong and Guangxi.
