Perennial evergreen herbs, 50-100 cm high. Rhizome erect, densely lanceolate scales. The leaf is lanceolate, leathery, 50-70 cm long, 10-12 cm wide in the middle, 2-pinnately divided, densely covered with strip-shaped scale hairs along the leaf axis, sparsely covered with brown short scale hairs below the feather, slightly shorter in the lower part, 5-8 cm long in the middle, and a small feather larger and convex on the upper side of the base The other pinnules are ovate, apex acuminate, entire or with 1-2 teeth; veins pinnately branched. The sporangia are large and round, growing between abaxial axis and leaf margin. The spore stage is from April to October.
In wet places under forests or in valleys. It is distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Zhejiang.
