Zijinbiao

[source] it is the root of Stylosanthes angustifolia.
[plant morphology] Stylosanthes angustifolia, also known as xiaolanxue.
Herbs perennial, 0.5-1 m high, base often woody. Leaf blade rhomboid ovate or ovate lanceolate, 1-3 cm long, 0.8-1.5 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, margin serrate. Flowers densely bunched, axillary or terminal; bracts not exfoliated; calyx tubular, 5-lobed; corolla high pedunculate, 5-lobed, blue. Capsule, cap split. It blooms in spring and summer.
Born on dry sunny hillside or ridge edge. It is distributed in Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet.
